One Shot - Happy Hearts Day

"3rd Person's P.O.V"

Emma is currently facing her vanity mirror, fixing herself. Preparing the things she needs before she will leave for school.

She fixed the mess she made in the table but left one blue colored envelope.

A love letter. She took it and read it once again to see if there is nothing wrong with it.

"This is perfect" she said

She was startled when someone talked behind her.

"Ano yan anak?" Fabio asked

Emma folded it gently and hid it in her pocket before facing his father.

"Nothing. Just an envelope" Emma lied

Fabio knew she was lying. He looked at her from head to toe then crossed his arms.

"Kanino mo ibibigay?" Fabio said

"Huh? What do you mean?" Emma asked cluelessly

"Emma kung hindi mo sasabihin sa akin, isusumbong kita sa mama mo" Fabio warned her

Emma's eyes widened when Fabio mentioned Camila. She doesn't want Camila to know because she knows that Camila will only stop what she's about to do.

"Kay Elias po. Crush ko po yun eh and since it's Valentine's Day, I want to give him something" Emma said with a smile

Fabio just shook his head. His little girl is no little girl anymore.

"Ok lang naman ang crush crush eh. Basta Emma, walang jowa muna" Fabio said

"Yes Papa, but please, don't tell this to Camila" Emma begged him

"Ok ok, sige na, umalis ka na, the driver is waiting for you, you might be late" said Fabio

Emma took her things. Fabio kissed her in the forehead as a way of saying 'I love you, take care'.

"Bukas, ipakilala mo ako sa Elias na yan ha? Para makita ko kung bagay ba siya sayo" Fabio teased Emma

"Papa!" Emma complained

Fabio just laughed. He escorted Emma downstairs. They saw Camila in the living room.

"Aalis na ako Camila" said Emma

Camila stood up and went near Emma and kissed her forehead. She tucked Emma's hair and smiled.

"Mag-ingat ka" Camila said

Emma just nodded and went outside. Before she could ride the car, she secretly checked if the letter was in good hands.

When she felt it there, she sighed and went inside the car. The driver then drove the car to Emma's school.

Fabio waited until the car was out of sight. He went inside and looked for Camila. He has something important to say.

"Camila?" Fabio called out

"I'm here" Camila shouted from the kitchen

Fabio went inside the kitchen. He found her baking her favorite recipe, banana cake.

"Bakit?" Camila asked

"Alam mo ba kung anong petsa ngayon?" Fabio asked her

"Uhmm...February 14?" Camila said, still baking the banana cake

"And when it's February 14, alam mo ba kung ano ang meron ngayon?" Fabio asked again

Camila looked at him with a fierce look. She knows it's Valentine's Day. And she is secretly hoping that Fabio would do something special for her just like he always does every year.
