I woke up the next morning feeling tense.
I sat up slowly and didn't recognize where I was until the memories of last night came flooding in.
I quickly jumped out of bed and towards the door.
Twisting the door knob, I found it unlocked.
I opened it and peeked my head out.
I looked both ways, seeing nobody.
I opened the door the rest of the way and didn't even take one step out before growling met my ears.
Suddenly, two large black muscly dogs with glowing red eyes and long sharp fangs came into view.
I didn't think, just reacted.
"Sinite!" I yelled.
Both of the dogs stopped growling and stared at me as if waiting for their next command.
Well, at least I think I just commanded them to do something.
I just kind of spoke another language without actually knowing the language.
It was as if it came natural from me.
Curious.
"Ah, so you do remember some things," A voice off to my left said.
I jumped and turned to see Luke standing there with an amused grin.
I shook my head, confused.
His grin faltered, but stayed in place.
"What did I just tell them?" I asked.
"You told them to 'stay,'" Luke explained. "And before you ask, you just spoke Latin."
I felt my eyebrows furrow.
"But I don't know Latin," I said lamely.
A small chuckle came from the blonde boy still looking amused with me.
"Come with me," He said all official like.
He turned around and went around the corner, out of my sight.
I hesitated.
Against my better judgment and everything in my body yelling at me to run the other way, I followed him.
I wanted answers. I needed to know why all this was happening to me and how is this even real.
I had to jog to catch up.
I followed behind him down a few halls and through a few corridors before coming to large double doors.
He opened the heavy looking doors with ease and walked in, still not checking to see if I was following or not.
It was like he knew I was going to follow.
Its not like I have any where else to go. I could run, but to where?
This place is huge and I would just end up getting lost instead of finding my way out.
Or with my luck, I would get out but not know where we were and get lost outside.
I followed him inside the room.
Looking around I found that the room was huge.
It was also a library.
The walls were full of shelves and shelves of books, from the floor to the ceiling, full of old looking leather bound books.
The books easily looked hundreds of years old and they caught my attention.
