A scream came from Ashton's lips as the two large Hellhounds circled and snarled at him.

"Maes," His voice was frantic and pleading.

It was that name again. He used it again...

I felt guilty as soon as it left his lips.

I felt more tears in my eyes, blurring everything.

"I'm sorry," I said, my voice cracking.

I quickly tell the Hellhounds not to harm him, turn around, and rush out of the room.

I pull the hood of my sweater up over my head, putting my face in shadow and raced down the hall.

I turned down hall after hall, trying to find the main door so I can get out.

I didn't know where to go, but I needed out.

"Bailey?" I heard my name and froze in place.

I turned on my heels slowly to meet the dark brown eyes of Calum.

"What are you doing?" He asked coming closer.

"Um, I was, um," I stood there, stumbling over my words. "I was looking for Luke," I lied.

He gave me a weird look, as if he didn't believe I was telling the truth.

"Ok, this way," He said beckoning me down a hall to the left.

I didn't want to talk to Luke, I just wanted to get out of here, but maybe I can use it to my advantage.

I did have a question or two.

I followed Calum in silence, not wanting to talk to him.

I didn't trust him...at all.

We came to those huge double doors that I've been through before.

He opened the door and let me go first.

I walked through the threshold and heard the doors shut behind me.

I looked over my shoulder to see that Calum was still behind me.

I turned forward again and saw Luke sitting in his chair.

"Bailey," Luke grinned. "What a pleasant surprise."

I forced a small smile and took a few steps forward.

"What can I do for you?" He asked sitting up taller in his tall thrown.

"I have a question," I stated.

"Ok," He said slowly. "What is it?"

"Can you take my block out?" I asked carefully.

I was nervous that he would get pissed and hurt me.

Or do something...

He didn't say anything for a moment or two, making me worry.

"No," Luke finally spoke up.

I felt my eyebrows furrow in confusion and shock.

"And why not?" I asked.

"It's still not safe for you," He said, his voice soft and caring.

"Why isn't it safe?" I asked, my voice raising slightly.

Luke stood up and walked towards me slowly.

He stopped in front of me and rested his large hands on my shoulders.

"Please," He said, his voice was low and pleading.

His blue eyes bore into mine, making me feel unsteady on my feet.

"Just trust me," He said. "Just truth that I'm trying to keep you safe and in order to do so, I can't take the block out."

I stayed quiet, starting back into his eyes.

Finally, I nodded.

He smiled and kissed my cheek gently.

I ignored the urge of jerking away.

"Thank you," He said.

I forced another smile.

"One more question," I spoke up a second later.

"Hmm?" Luke hummed.

"Who's the guy that has bright red hair and deep green eyes?" I asked hesitantly.

I felt very hesitant with this question. Felt like this is what could make Luke tick.

I was right.

Luke's blue eyes darkened an his grip on my shoulders tightened painfully.

I winced.

"Luke, your hurting me," I whimpered.

He shook his head and his eyes cleared. His grip loosened and he gave me an apologetic look.

"Sorry," He said turning around and walking a few steps.

He stopped and his head faced the floor.

His broad shoulders moved slowly as he took a couple deep breaths.

"Why do you ask of him?" He asked.

His voice was dangerously low. It sent a shiver down my spine and I took a single step back.

"Please, just answer my question," I said carefully.

Once again, Luke stayed quiet.

"His name," He finally said. "Is Michael Clifford."

I watched his back intently, waiting for something to happen.

"He's the King who's trying to hurt you," Luke said turning around to face me.

I felt my eyes eyes widen.

"Now," He continued.

He took a step back towards me.

"How do you know of him?" He asked me again.

I shook my head.

"I honestly don't know," I said honestly.

His eyebrows furrowed.

"Can I back to my chambers now?" I asked looking down.

"Yes, go!" Luke said sternly.

I turned around and quickly opened the doors, letting them slam behind me.

I turned down a hall and almost ran into someone.

"State your name!" A strong voice bellowed.

I looked up to see a muscly man with dark hair a black eyes.

"Bailey," I said in a weak voice.

The demons eyes widened and he bowed.

"I am sorry, Miss Bailey," He said in a quieter voice.

Confused, I didn't say anything.

"Can I help you with anything?" He asked.

A thought hit me.

"Actually..."
