In the next few days that passed I worked on a room in the dungeon, specially made for Luke and Calum. I used my strongest magic that I posses to create the un-escapable room.
The room doesn't have any doors, only a window and a bed for them to sleep. They get food magically delivered to them three times a day.
They have a bathroom, so they have no true reason to leave their cell.
In the end, I did choose Ashton. We lived in the castle as it was half mine-according to my parents.
Michael is still my best friend, I have not ignored him in any way.
I've even helped him try and find someone to rule at his side as Queen, but that's quite a slow process.
We've been keeping a close eye on the other realm, seeing what they're up too.
It took a little but of chaos, but they now have a new ruler they call King.
Hopefully, he doesn't share in Luke's point of view and things stay peaceful between the two realms.
I feel better now, like me. I felt like me up on Earth without my memories, but now, I don't know it's hard to explain. I definitely feel more at home here and never want to go back.
I often find myself thinking about everyone I left behind up on Earth.
My "parents" have probably forgotten me, thanks to the magical powers of Michael Clifford. They're probably living a better or happier life knowing I don't exists.
Everyone at school has probably forgotten me also and my teachers-even the rude ass ones. They're lives won't be affected in anyway possible now that I've gone.
Lastly, my thoughts go to Koda. My poor baby, Koda or more correctly, Nox. She was sent up there to protect me and she died because Luke is a power hungry, manipulative, ego filled, bastard who had her killed for the mere thrill of it.
I sighed as I stared out the window overlooking the kingdom.
People/demons were talking happily with one another, enjoying their day. Shops were in full swing and going well. Kids were running and laughing.
An arm snaked around my waist and I looked over to see Ash smiling down at me.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He asked softly.
"Hmm," I hummed in thought.
I didn't really have anything particular on my mind, it was more of wandering around to subject to subject.
Finally, I came up with an answer.
"I'm just thinking about how people can be so ignorant even when people are fighting and dying around them. That there's people protecting them from things they no nothing of. They live a peaceful life in a world full of danger."
Ashton stayed quiet.
"I'm also thinking about how the ones you love, die no matter how hard you tried to keep them safe," I added in a hushed voice.
Ashton sighed and pulled me away from the window.
He took me around to the balcony instead.
The fresh air caressed my bare skin as a cool breeze lifted my hair.
I took a large breath of the fresh air and leaned against the iron fence lining the balcony.
"I have a quote that I found while up on Earth," Ashton said gazing out over the rolling hills.
His hazel eyes were bright in the bright light outside-even though there isn't a sun. His light brown locks were lightening up with sun streaked pieces.
"I love the meaning of it and just how much it applies to my life," He added.
His hazel turned onto me and I could just how serious he was being.
"Can I hear it?" I asked.
My voice was quiet and it seemed that the light breeze stole my words away and floated them down away from us.
Ashton took my hands in his larger ones and turned to face me fully.
He slowly leaned down and pressed his lips firmly to mine.
"Christopher Poindexter once said," He said softly, pulling back slightly.
His eyes never left mine.
"I loved her, not for the way she danced with my angels, but how the sound of her name could silence my demons."
