I had said absolutely nothing after Luke revealed everything.

He tried to get me to say something, anything, but I just wouldn't.

Its not like I was refusing to talk, I was just trying to process everything, and that kind of mean no talking.

Luke soon gave up and took me back to my room where he dropped me off saying he would be back to get me for dinner.

I sat on my bed, legs crossed, staring ahead at nothing.

My head was turning with so many questions and so many things about what I should or shouldn't believe. I was so conflicted with trying to figure out who's telling the truth: Luke or Ashton?

Ashton was the one who has seemed to be trying to protect me.

He saved me from Calum when he first tried taking me. He got me out of my school when Calum was trying to take me that second time. He was the one who helped me when I found Koda murdered on my back deck. He's the one who told me that demons were real and that Hell was a real place too.

Luke on the other hand, he's told me things that Ashton didn't.

He told me the whole story. Told me the past, why I don't seem to remember everything, why all this is happening.

But, Luke is also the one who sent Calum after me. Calum wasn't nice about it either, not to mention he killed my dog.

Did Luke tell him to be rough with me? To kill my dog to 'send me a warning' like Ashton had said?

Who was telling the real story?

I fell back onto the mattress, keeping my legs crossed, and stared up at the blank ceiling.

Everything seems to come back to my memory being blocked.

If Luke is the one who put the block there, why hasn't he just removed it yet?

I tried remembering myself, first.

I closed my eyes and took a few cleansing breaths.

I tried thinking of the oldest memory that I have.

Easy, it was when I was seven or eight and my parents took me to the aquarium.

I smiled as the images of all the beautiful fish that I've never seen before came before my closed eyes.

But wait, I had a block, Luke told me those weren't my real parents. My real parents supposedly died when I was young, too young to remember them.

I groaned and pushed those people from my mind.

I tried another way.

I let out a big breath and slowly relaxed my body from the bottom of my feet all the way to the crown on my head.

Starting with my toes, I wigged them and slowly went up my legs. Relaxing each muscle as I went. I got to my chest and slowed my breathing and heart rate. Going up and through my arms, I let myself imagine that I was one with the bed. Letting myself relax more and more.

As I relaxed I felt this weird feeling in my brain.

A tinglings sensation that made me feel numb.

I imagined that I was inside my brain and I started walking towards this feeling and as I got closer and closer the feeling got stronger.

This feeling was visible as I got closer.

To me, it looked as a giant ball of bright white light and it was radiating with power and energy.
