The next day at school, Ashton still liked to stare at me, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday.

Yesterday, he looked at me with intensity that I can't even explain, but today, today he was staring at me with confusion and curiousness.

At lunch, Ashton once again joined me.

I didn't want him to, I wanted to be alone.

Everything from last night still spun around in my mind.

I still wondered how he figured out where I lived.

I wanted too know why he was even there.

I wanted to know why he grabbed me like that.

But, mostly, I wanted to know where those unspoken words came from and what they meant.

I had packed grapes again today and ended up throwing one at him in hopes he would see that I wanted to be alone.

All it ended up doing was for him to open his mouth an catch it instead and then smiling like an idiot.

I realized that this was the first time I've seen him smile.

His straight pearly white teeth showing along with adorable dimples on either cheeks.

A small giggle escaped my lips when he caught it.

I immediately snapped my mouth closed, not meaning to laugh at him acting goofy.

Wait, why was he acting goofy?

He has this whole aura around him that screams Bad Boy and Mysterious and Danger, but I could see something else.

I could see that he has this softer more goofy side to him.

I could also see that he was covering that up, purposely acting mysterious.

But why?

I watched him carefully before ignoring him completely.

The bell rang soon after and he got up and walked off, just like yesterday.

Confused, I packed up my lunch and headed to class.

He was on my mind until the last bell rang out.

In my car, I drove into town, not wanting to go home yet.

I drove to one of my favorite places around here: Starbucks.

Parking, I head inside and am happy that there's no line.

"One venti vanilla latte with two shots of chocolate, please," I ordered with a smile.

The cute guy behind the counter smiled widely at me as he quickly made my order.

As he made it, he kept glancing over his shoulder and smiling at me.

His blonde shaggy hair was tousled nicely and his bright blue eyes flashed with happiness as he made my coffee.

Once finished, he wrote the order on the coffee cup and handed it to me.

I payed him, took my coffee, and went to sit in the back of the store at one of the tables by the giant window.

I took a small sip of my coffee and my taste buds were overjoyed by the yummy taste.

I pulled my phone out and slowly drank my coffee.

As I took another drink, I noticed something on my cup.

I turned it around and saw that the barista had written his number.

My pinks flushed and I sent a side glance over at the shaggy haired cutie.

I was half way finished when I had the feeling of eyes watching me.

I look up from my phone and scan the area.

A few people were sitting at other tables, doing something on their laptops, and drinking their coffees.

Nobody was even looking my way, until I noticed the other back corner.

I could see the color of his hazel eyes from all the way across the room.

What is he doing here?

Is he following me?!

Ohmy...calm down Bailey, he came to get a coffee just like you had done.

I glance away and take another drink of my warm coffee.

I could still feel his eyes on me.

Feeling slightly uncomfortable, I stand up, an leave.

From the corner of my eye, I see Ashton stand as well.

Hmmm...

Instead of going to my car, I walk down the street away from it.

A good amount of people were walking down the sidewalk.

People heading off to work, people getting off of work, people going anywhere but home.

I headed towards the small bookstore that I loved.

I sneakily glanced over my shoulder to see Ashton not all that far behind me.

My heart raced behind my rib cage.

Was he really following me?

Deep breaths Bailey, he just walks this way to get home.

I make it to the bookstore and go quickly through the door.

The small bell on top of the door chimed, signaling my arrival.

I immediately went up the stairs that were off the the right.

Quickly heading up them, I hid behind a tall bookshelf and peaked through a slit to see if he came in.

As I waited, I took slow deep breaths to calm my heart beat.

As soon as I thought it was all clear and that sure Ashton wasn't following me, the bell chimed.

I froze.

I peaked through the slit and low and behold, it's Ashton.

He looks around slowly and spots the stairs.

He heads for them, and I take off towards the back, and hide behind the last shelf.

I hold my breath as I hear his footsteps getting closer.

I wait right next to the end that he's closest too.

I see his shadow along the wall, getting closer and closer.

Just as he gets to the end, I step out in front of him.

He jumps slightly, surprised at me suddenly appearing.

I narrow my eyes at him and wait for him to answer my unspoken question.
