"I know I won't," I whispered against his ear...
He pulled back a little and grinned at me. His black lip ring glistened in the low light.
I grinned as well.
I called to my magic until it warmed up my hands, thinking fast. Pulling the same force, maybe a little less of it, I used on Calum.
"You will though," I said as a bright white light shot from my hand.
Luke's eyes widened as he flew back and crashed into his thrown.
His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he passed out.
Knowing he would be out for a while, I turned around and ran to Ashton.
I quickly got his binds off and he immediately pulled me into a giant hug.
"Thank you," I said softly.
He pulled back, giving me a questioning look.
I shook my head slightly and gave him a weak smile.
"Everything I said to Luke was the truth," I said standing up.
I turned around to check on Michael.
He was making his way up to his feet.
Leaving Ashton, I went over to him.
Did Mikey look...sad?
"Mikey?" I called gently.
His eyes soon met mine.
His right eye was slowly swelling up and his lip was split.
I stepped up to him and set my hands on his chest.
He pushed my hands away before I could heal him.
"No, Bailey," He said in a gruff voice. "You've used a lot of energy today."
I shook my head.
"You're worth it," I said giving him a small smile.
He sighed and let me call upon my magic once again.
Letting my hands warm up, I thought about healing. Thought about cleaning up everything Luke had done, physically.
A few minutes later and Mikey was back to normal.
He smiled at me.
"Thank you," He mumbled.
I put a hand to my head as a wave of dizziness swept over my body.
"Wow," Michael said putting a hand on my waist to steady me as I swayed.
"I'm fine," I said waving him off.
I took a deep breath and the dizziness past.
I once again met Michaels eyes. He looked a little sad and happy all at once.
His eyes glanced over my shoulder at Ashton and back at me.
I gave him a sad smile as I knew what was going through his mind.
When my parents were still alive, they made a will for when they died. When they did die, it was read through and found that they had arranged a marriage for me.
When I was old enough to understand, I was furious. It didn't matter to me that I did love who I was set up with.
It was none other than Michael Clifford. Yes, I admit, I love him, but not in that way. I loved him as a best friend, as a brother I've never had, as a person who's always been there for me.
I knew I couldn't go against my parents word, so I sucked it up and decided I would go through with it.
Michael though, he did love me. I mean love, love me.
It broke my heart to know that he would never be with someone who loves him in that way. It still breaks my heart.
"Go ahead," Be said sadly.
He motioned to the curly haired boy behind me.
I shook my head.
"Don't shake your head at me," Mikey scolded. "Go on, I'm not going to keep you from someone you love."
My heart melted at his words.
I already knew that he knew I didn't love him that way and he always accepted it. Never made me do anything I didn't want to do.
At his words, I realized that I did love Ashton. I didn't think that I could love anyone, let alone I've known all my life. Yet, I did love him.
I brought my hand up and caressed Mikey's cheek. His eyes closed as he leaned into my hand.
I got up on my tippy toes and laid a gently kiss to his lips.
When I pulled back he looked at me in surprise before smiling at me.
He motioned to Ashton and I nodded.
I turned, but instead of going to Ashton-who looked sad from me kissing Mikey-I went to Luke.
I could feel my energy on the line of being empty. I pushed it aside and bound him up. Next going over to Calum and doing the same.
Ashton, Michael, and I piled Luke and Calum up in one of our horse. Ashton climbed on behind me on my horse and Mikey climbed up on his.
We rode out if the castle and into town.
Everybody stopped to stare at us. They were wide eyes and confused at seeing their King and the Second In Command in binds and with us.
We stopped at the edge of their kingdom and turned back to look at everyone who had followed.
"Your King and Second In Command our now in my custody," Michael spoke with authority. "There will be no getting out for them, therefore a new King needs to be elected."
With that, we turned towards home and headed off.
(A/N: No cliffhanger here! *for once...* well, I am sad to say that one chapter is left and one chapter only. I want to say now that there will be no sequel or any kind of continuance of Demon. Hope you guys have enjoyed)
