Part 15

"Jeez are you guys usually this awkward?"

Most of the boys were sitting in silence as they either played on their phones or picked at their food. But no one tried to make conversation with the new person at the table. Well...except Robert who tried to at least make small talk with her.

With Jenna.

Kairi has been exceptionally quiet since Jenna has started sitting at their table. But you know what they say:

If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.

And Kairi had absolutely nothing good to say to her.

Alejandro only looked up at her before looking back down at his phone making Jenna frown. She turned towards Mattia and whispered something in his ear which resulted in him frowning as well.

Mattia elbowed Kairi in his side and the small boy gazed up at him with a blank expression.

"What the hell is up with you guys? I know you guys don't like me with Jenna but it's my decision. So fucking get over it and be happy for me." He whispers harshly in Kairi's ear making the boy sigh under his breath.

Kairi didn't reply; instead he put on a sickeningly wide smile before turning his head to look at Mattia's girlfriend. "Hey Jenna! How've you been?" He asked nicely before kicking Alejandro in the shin so he could look up.

And he did, snapping his head up to give Kairi a 'wtf' look before the smaller boy gave him a pointed one back and Alejandro briefly glanced to Jenna before catching on and rolling his eyes before giving the girl the smallest grin he could muster.

Jenna put on a clearly fake smile as well before answering. "I've actually been really good these past couple of days. Mattia knows just the right ways to make me feel better." She said slyly.

Kairi grimaced, swallowing down a "I didn't ask" before looking down and letting out a small laugh. "I'm sure." He mumbled.

"I don't think we needed to know that." Alejandro spoke up, an uncomfortable expression clear on his face making Kairi's eyes widen. When the older wanted to, he really didn't hold back on his words.

Jenna rolled her eyes before smirking. "You say that as though Mattia doesn't already tell you stuff like that."

"Are you Mattia?"

The girl recoiled back with a offended look on her face while Kairi briefly shut his eyes in disappointment. Did he understand why Alejandro was acting this way? Of course. If he could he would act the same but apparently Mattia is happy and as his best friend Kairi had to respect that.

"Dude are you fucking serious? Jenna never did anything wrong to you so if you aren't going to treat her nicely- actually, if all of you aren't going to treat her nicely then we'll just find another place to sit." The Italian boy snapped.

Alejandro sighed before letting out a soft apology, making up a excuse that of course no one believed but Jenna. "I'm going through shit right now and I thought taking it out on you would make me feel better. It didn't." He mumbled the last part before picking up his tray and getting up, leaving the table.

Kairi instantly got up to follow him not aware of the hurt look on Mattia's face as he rushed to catch up with Alejandro because he basically speed walked to the trash cans. Once the small boy was walking next to him he nudged Alejandro's side with his elbow gently, a soft smile on his face.

"That was a pretty shit excuse." Kairi laughed.

"Well she has a pretty shit brain so I'm sure she fell for it."
