Kairi walked into the mall feeling nervous. Before he had gotten out of Mattia's car yesterday the taller boy had pulled him in for one last breath taking kiss before letting him leave, and when they had pulled away Kairi had somehow ended up halfway in Mattia's lap.

The whole experience had left the small boy extremely giddy, his mind only replaying yesterday events like a mantra that left him wanting more.

"Kai!"

Shit!

The said boy flinched hard at his name being called so loudly and abruptly and he quickly looked around to catch the person behind it. Which only took two turns of Kairi's head to spot the brunette head girl smiling widely at him, basically speed walking to get to him.

Kairi returned the enthusiasm with a wide box smile of his own and when the girl opened her arms out he gratefully took the offer, picking her up and twirling the short girl around briefly.

"Emily!" The small boy paused to soak in her features. "....damn. You're even prettier in person..."

Emily rolled her eyes with a small grin before slapping him on the shoulder. "Shut the fuck up. Don't make me think something that's not true." She joked making Kairi's smile dim.

"What're you talking about?"

"Uh...well- your live with Mattia is kinda all over TikTok right now—" She paused for a second. "And TikTok room of course."

Kairi swallowed thickly but said nothing, not even being able to open his mouth.

"I....I didn't know you were gay?" Emily said hesitantly and the wasian boy slowly shook his head.

"I'm bi." He answered quietly—awkwardly, making  Emily feel bad. "Hey it's nothing against you I just thought that you um-" she cleared her throat. "-liked me...is all." The brunette girl said quietly.

This time it was Kairi's turn to feel bad. Even if he had tried to deny it there was still a big part of him that knew he had led Emily on into believing that he had liked her. But in Kairi's defense, he had truck himself into believing it too which was kinda out of his control.....

But it was still his fault.

"I—I'm sorry Em-" The older boy noticed the uncomfortable look on the girls face and panicked. "Sorry I didn't know if it was okay to call you that-"

She quickly cut him off. "No it's alright. And not just the name, like everything. You like who you like and I'm not going to try and get in the way of that....but Mattia? I mean— no offense but I kinda always shipped you with Alejandro."

Kairi grimaced immediately at those words. "What the hell? Me and Alejandro? Fuck no." He said making Emily's mouth drop in shock and confusion.

"What do you mean? Why not?"

"Because....he's just- not my type." The small boy muttered before subconsciously biting on his bottom lip.

"And Mattia is?" Emily asked, almost sounding a bit disgusted. Kairi just shrugged in response and it got awkwardly silent for a couple of moments before the girl suddenly snorted.

"Bruh you moaned so loud." She informed his with a laugh and Kairi's eyes widened; cheeks flushing a light pink with embarrassment before he rolled his and walked in front of her.

"Shut the fuck up and come get food with me." He grumbled causing Emily to bust out laughing, her eyes quickly misting with tears.

"Em, what the fuck are you doing? You're supposed to shoot the zombies not the fucking other characters." Kairi exclaimed in frustration, this being the fifth time she had done such a thing.
