Part 19

"You remember when I told the group that Alejandro would be the first one to come out?"

"Uh yeah."

"I'm pretty sure Ale is gay." Mattia said quietly, scratching the back of his head.

Kairi narrowed his eyes at him as several different things crossed his mind. "Why?"

"Because...everything that happened between us that night meant something to him. Which I can't say the same for."

Kairi was almost surprised at how fast the lump in his throat emerged as he processed Mattia's words and the context behind them. Mainly the fact that he said 'everything' instead of just mentioning the kiss. Letting Kairi know once again that something more happened. The small boy wondered why Alejandro wasn't more mad at Mattia then Jenna.

"What more did you guys do...." he choked out, looking back at the younger's face.

Mattia's eyes widened. "N-no we didn't do...that. He just..." he nervously fiddled with his fingers as he peered up at Kairi. "...did...some stuff...to me?"

"And you liked it?"

"I- I mean....I was drunk!"

"Yeah and? You still liked it." Kairi commented making Mattia scrunch his face up.

"Only because I was drunk." He retorted.

"No-" the small boy leaned forward so that his and Mattia's faces were only a couple of inches apart before putting his hand on the boys chest. "You liked it because-"

"Hey I'm heading over to Alvaro's house so you guys have to go, Kai I'll drop you off at your house." Alejandro said after he busted into the room, paying no attention to the pair as he went over to grab his overnight bag that he always kept prepared..,just in case.

Kairi instantly pushed Mattia away from in front of him so that he could go over to Alejandro and the younger frowned a bit at how fast Kairi's attention went off of him. Watching as the smaller boy wrapped his arms around Ale's waist, speaking silently about something. (Most likely about him leaving the room).

Mattia was often starting to notice how Kairi was more affectionate with Alejandro then with him now but Mattia couldn't say anything about it because it was mostly his fault. Especially since he was dating Jenna now he understood why Kairi didn't want to hug him or...cuddle anymore (not that they did that a lot).

"Hey Alejandro, I'll take him. Just head over to Alvaro's."

The boy turned around and the pair had a silent conversation for a couple of seconds before Ale sighed and looked towards Kairi who was staring at them confused. "Are you alright with that?"

Kairi looked over at Mattia hesitantly for a moment before ruffling his hair, shrugging.

Alejandro arched an eyebrow and Kairi sighed before nodding, giving the boy a quick side hug and grabbing his backpack before walking over to Mattia. "See you Ale."

"See you, Kai."

Mattia only nodded in Alejandro's direction which resulted in a eye roll from the latter before he swung his arm around Kairi's shoulder and pulled him towards his own body, trying to hold back his smile from the contact. Kairi tried to do the same but failed, instead the small boy looked down at his shoes as they walked down the stairs, a big box smile on his face.

He bit his bottom lip, forcing himself to calm down. He was supposed to be mad. He was mad. His face instantly went black (A/N BLANK* 😭✋) as they headed out of the door, pulling away from Mattia's grip so that he could get into the passengers seat, instantly moving his gaze towards the window.
