He just hoped Mattia didn't come to visit him tomorrow.

"Kaaaaaairi!"

The said boy didn't replied, instead just looked up at the white tiled ceilings, hating the way his cheeks had already started to burn up.

Hating the way his mind instantly brought up their conversation from yesterday.

Mattia brought up a chair to Kairi's bed before plopping down. "Kairi, Kairi, Kai-"

"Can you shut up." The brunette suddenly snapped, looking over at his friend in annoyance.

Mattia's eyebrows instantly shot up before his lips formed into a small pout. "Jeez, someone's grumpy today."

Kairi sighed. "Sorry I'm just—" he paused to sit up in his bed and scrunching his face up when pain suddenly shot through his back. "-just tired." He muttered.

Mattia gazed at him with worry for a couple of seconds before leaning down to rest his chin on the older boys knee. "How come?" He asked softly.

"Didn't sleep last night?"

Kai simply shook his head and cleared his throat before looking down at his best friend.

It was silent as the pair stared at each other, Mattia reaching up to gently move Kairi's hair that was covering his eyes before smiling.

"Hey, you remember that night when I played "love song" by Rihanna?" He suddenly asked making Kai furrow his eyebrows.

"Um-"

"And you asked me if I was trying to take your virginity?"

Kairi choked on his spit before quickly looking away from the younger boy, shocked by his bluntness (even though he should be used to it by now).

If he had trouble remembering what Mattia was talking about, he definitely knew it now. The memories practically coming at him full force, the first thing popping up in his mind was how Mattia had replied back,

"Do you want me to?"

Kairi bit his lip, wanting to get off the subject so he decided to act dumb. "You mean when Pinto was over?"

The playful smile that had been clear as day on the Italian's face had completely dropped as the boy shot up in his seat, fixing the small boy with a serious expression.

"Yo. What's wrong? Did I—"

"Do you not know what Pinto did?" Mattia cut him off with a sharp tone.

"Uh..." Kairi only gazed at him worryingly. "No? What'd he do?"

"He—nothing. It's nothing Kai." The younger said dismissively making Kairi scrunch his face up.

"What do you mean 'it's nothing.' It was obviously something since you got so serious all of a sudden."

"Nah. Never mind."

The small boy only stared at his best friend, annoyance bubbling just at the surface of his emotions, threatening to boil over the longer he looked at him. "Mattia." He warned.

"Kairi." The latter deadpanned.

"Are you seriously hiding stuff from-"

A sudden knock was heard throughout the room and Kairi paused as both of the boys eyes flickered over to the door.
