About two months after Kairi woke up:

"Just so you know, we have like three hours to ourselves because my mom is going out downtown with her friends."

Many messages from the groupchat were coming in and Mattia couldn't help but sigh in annoyance before unlocking his phone.

Kairi on the other hand completely froze for a second when his boyfriend had just jumped onto his bed and got on his phone like it was just going to be any other normal hang out day between the two.

Kai masked his disappointment with a small smile as he hopped onto his bed too, leaning his head on Mattia's shoulder as they shared the view of his phone screen.

"You haven't muted them yet?" Kairi asked with a smile after noticing the many notifications that kept popping up on the younger's phone.

"Nah...I didn't really think to since I don't check them anyways." Mattia replied before clicking on one of the notifications to see why the group-chat was blowing up his phone.
