"Hey why is Jenna sitting over there?" Pinto asked confused and the rest of the boys snapped their heads over to the table three rows ahead of them in surprise.

"Because we broke up." Mattia deadpanned before looking back at his phone with a bored expression on his face.

"When?"

"Yesterday."

"Are...are you okay?" Kairi asked softly making Mattia look up at him. He gazed at him for a couple of seconds before a small smile graced his face.

"Yeah, I'm alright."

"Ok." The small boy only looked at him confused when Mattia suddenly fixed him with an intense gaze, making him a bit uncomfortable. Kairi's noticed that Mattia has been staring at him more than usual and it was starting to weird him out.

"Wait why'd you guys break up though?" Alejandro asked.

"I just..." Mattia broke eye contact with Kairi to look towards Alejandro. "..wasn't feeling it anymore." The boy shrugged before looking at his phone again.

"You were literally making out with her during lunch yesterday."

"Okay and? That doesn't mean I was interested in her romantically." The younger boy retorted and Alejandro's eyebrows raised before looking at Alvaro pointedly.

"I don't believe you." Alvaro stated.

Mattia glared at him for a couple of seconds before scoffing. "Of course you don't, Al. I said what I fucking said bitch."

Alvaro stared back before putting his attention on Kairi. "Hey Kai, how's Emily doing?" He asked, smirking when he saw Mattia roll his eyes in his peripheral vision.

"Oh- she's been pretty good. We've started to talk like every night.

"I still think you could do better."

Kairi rolled his eyes before leaning towards the Italian boy with a small smile. "Yeah that's what you keep saying but I still haven't heard any names, Mattia."

Mattia paused. "You should come over to my house today."

Kairi furrowed his eyebrows at the randomness of his friends comment. "Uh why?"

"Because I want to talk to you about something."

"Hey can we come over too-"

"No fucktard." Mattia cut Robert off. "Hence why I said 'you' instead of 'you guys'."

"No need to get aggressive." The tall boy mumbled back jokingly making Mattia roll his eyes.

"So you down?"

Kairi briefly looked at Alejandro nervously before shrugging and letting out a small "sure." But then Friday's conversation popped into his head and he got anxious. "Wait it's nothing bad right?"

"No."

Kairi gave him an apprehensive look. "Alright then."

"Hey uh- Mattia, can I talk to you real quick?"

The said boy looked up from his class work to fix Alvaro with an awaiting stare as he tossed his pencil onto the desk in front of him. "What?"

Alvaro pulled up a chair and sat down before looking up at Mattia nervously. "I wanted to apologize about yesterday. I didn't realize that you were going through stuff too and I just assumed that Kairi was the only one hurting."

The taller boy sighed at his friends words before ruffling his hair. "No it's cool...I know you were just looking out for him....." He trailed off as he considered whether or not he should tell Alvaro about what's been going on.
