Cameron
"I wish I never hurt you." China said softly, "I went to see you after I got back from Rehab. I know you thought that I only tried to call those two times but I didn't." She sadly giggled. "I went to your door and I told myself that if you didn't answer I would never try again. I was just going to take the rumors that you had already started because that's what I deserved." She shrugged her shoulders.
"No, Chi." I shook my head. "You never deserved to be treated like Shit. I wish I did answer and I would have if it wasn't for Chloe."
"How do we get back to how we once were? Before the drugs and alcohol and.. well."
"You mean when we were twelve.. five years ago? I don't know."
"Did you mean the things you said in your post about me?" She asked. Of course I did.
"Did you?" I asked
"Of course. I meant everything the last few years. I never fought back until recently because I know I fucked up. Why can't we just start over?"
"We can't just start over, Chi. I leave in two weeks for Descendants two and this friendship needs a lot of work." I explained.
"Well I'm leaving also so why can't we just start over when we're in a different country?"
"Because Chi it's just." I stopped when I realized what she said, "Wait, What? What do you mean you're leaving also?" I asked.
"Shit." She said quietly.
"China." I said sternly and she started jumping up and down because she didn't want to tell me. "CHINA!"
"I'M UMA!" She yelled. Well, Fuck. This is going to be a lot harder than I thought it would be. "I'm not suppose to say anything for another week." She sighed.
"When did you even audition?" I threw my hands up and slightly chuckled.
"A few months ago because Kenny called me. I was hesitant because you all hated or hate me but I can't push my life back because of that. Yeah, I'm Uma." She casually shrugged her shoulders.
"You're shitting me." I mumbled and scratched my head.
"Look, we don't have to talk during that time." She groaned. I looked at her and I wanted to fix her sadness but I don't know how.
"No, Chi. We can figure something out." I sighed.
"Figure something out? You're acting like I'm wanting to be your girlfriend." She rolled her eyes. If it wasn't for Bren.. I would be trying harder.
"Can we interrupt again?" Maya asked. We turned around and the whole family was staring at us. Mom and dad decided to join in also.
"Cameron and China? A sight that we haven't seen in ages." Dad whispered. Dad wasn't a China fan after I told him everything that had happened. Mom always loved China and so did Maya. It's been really difficult to talk kindly about her to last couple of years but I've made it work.
"Hope you don't mind. I decided to join in also." Sophie Also popped up with her bright smile. If there's drama... Sophie will be there to see it.
"Y'all are already here so.. join the therapy session." China sighed and sat on her bed. Everyone else sat on the floor.
"You never did let us apologize." Mike spoke up. China looked up with a small smile with sadness in her eye.
"What are you sorry for dad?" China spoke up.
"I'm sorry for not taking everything better. I'm sorry I put you in rehab and left you there. I'm sorry I wrote you a letter that barely said anything. I'm sorry I never answered your calls. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you were bullied." He paused and Glared at me. I could only look down in disappointment, "I'm sorry I turned you away last week. I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry that I wasn't a Dad to you when I should've been. You have your regrets but not being a decent father and keeping your siblings from you is my biggest regret." Mike paused with all the tears running down his face.
"We can go.. if you two need a moment." Sophie spoke up.
"No. It's okay.. I Just wanted to let China know that I loved her."
"I love you, Daddy." China smiled and pulled him in for a bear hug. I couldn't help but smile that I'm witnessing this but my thoughts were interrupted when I caught Sophie staring at me.
"Hell no." She simply said. Everyone stopped to look at us, "I'm sorry. I just need to borrow Cameron for a minute." She snapped and dragged me downstairs.
"HELL NO." Sophie yelled.
"Soph. What the fuck is your problem?"
"I saw the way you were looking at her! Hell no. You will absolutely not do that to Brenna. NO."
"I think you're just trying to create drama. I wasn't looking at her in any way and even if I was.. the feelings that I had for her will never go away. I have a girlfriend I know that and I would never do that to Brenna." I reassured her. Soph kept staring at me before I figured something out, "but you're not worried about Brenna, right? Because you're jealous of Brenna too. Soph, you turned me down and after that I stopped trying."
"I turned you down because you weren't over China!" She yelled. I covered her mouth in fear of other people listening.
"Keep your voice down. Damn. What would you like me to do then Drama Queen?"
"Not make heart eyes at China when you have a girlfriend." She snapped.
"Is that all you want? You don't want me to dump Brenna for you?" I teased.
"You're an ass." Sophie hissed, "Just promise you won't hurt Brenna and don't make a smart ass comment."
"I promise I won't hurt Brenna. I promise I'll try not to make heart eyes when I see china and I promise I won't date you ever in my entire life."
"Heart eyes at China?" Soph and I turned around only to take a deep sigh.
"Bren, you walked in at the wrong time." Sophie explained.
