"Sophie." I sighed while she walked in the door.
"I've done a lot of thinking before I came here." She admitted.
"So have I." I added.
"China, my friends love you. They've forgiven you and there's no reason for me to have hard feelings toward you."
"What about 'I'm sorry that I almost made you lose your eyesight'" I groaned. Sophie couldn't help but giggle.
"Jail time teaches you a lot. I'm sorry for that and I'm sorry for blaming you for everything. Just take care of Cameron and maybe we can go have dinner one of these days." She smiled. I was confused. Why was this so easy?
"Why are you making this easy?"
"China, I'm sorry for hurting you but I'm moving on. I'm proud of your progress." Sophie smiled before walking out. Mrs. Rice came in a little too late.
"That was fast." She pointed out.
"And the easiest session I've had." I added. I looked at Mrs. Rice and smiled, "I'm okay. I'm free." I smiled. She gave me a big smile back.
"I've never been prouder of anyone else. You have made such big progress, China. I'm so glad to know such a wonderful human being." Mrs. Rice hugged me, "I'm always a phone call away but as of right now you're going to be discharged tomorrow."
"A phone call away." I whispered, "it's so weird. I don't need you anymore, but you've been a great influence on my life."
"I'll see you whenever you need me, China. Also, Booboo and Bri are waiting in the lobby." Mrs. Rice smiled before walking out. I have never felt so happy or relieved. I have friends who love me, a boyfriend who loves me, a family who loves me. Everything is exactly how it's suppose to be.
"China!" Boo and Bri greeted me with big smiles.
"I'm done!" I cheered, "I can go home tomorrow. I'm-"
"You're okay." Boo finished for me and hugged me. Bri joined the hug as we were all giggling.
"My best friends." Bri giggled. I was getting emotional. I haven't felt this way in a really long time. I have people who will forever have my back. We were interrupted by Dove showing up in my room.
"Dove?" I questioned.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you had anybody in here." She spoke up.
"No it's okay. Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I was just wondering if you wanted to go on an ice cream date? Like old times?"
"Old times, New souls." I smiled. She returned the smile and nodded.
"Cameron is outside in the lobby also." Dove informed me before walking out. Cameron. My smile brightened. I looked at Boo and Bri and was reminded how lucky I am. I didn't have to say anything as we all felt the same thing. Cameron had came into the room. Boo and Bri stood up.
"We're going to give you two alone time." Bri winked before heading back to the lobby.
"I love you,Chi." Boo hugged me so tightly, "I'm forever your number one fan." He punched me in the shoulder before running off. I looked at Cameron who had that big ass grin on his face.
"I missed you." I smiled, "and I'm sorry I gave you the cold shoulder."
"Nah, don't worry about it." He reassured me before laying down next to me.
"I love you, Cameron."
"I love you too, Chi." He smiled and leaned his head against mine. I started to think and then I looked at him and felt nothing but pure love.
"I want it to be during Christmas. I want it to be outside and I want Christmas lights. I want Pizza Hut after and I want the colors to be different than Christmas colors. I want blue and-"
"Chi, What are you talking about?" Cam chuckled.
"You said you see yourself marrying me. I'm telling you what I want our wedding to look like." I gushed. Cam grabbed the side of my face before he kissed me passionately. I am China Anne McClain and I'm finally okay. I will always be okay.
