"You look beautiful with messy hair and no makeup." I smiled at her and watched her blush.

"They took my hairbrush away because the crazy chick from across the hall snatched it out of my hand and started threatening people."

"Ever thought about moving to a different room?"

"Well, I did but then they sent her somewhere else." She smiled and pulled me closer to lay down next to her, "I missed you." She sighed.

"I missed you." I kissed her forehead, "why do you sound so sad?" I asked.

"Can you just move in here with me for the next three weeks?"

"No." I chuckled, "Chi, you'll be okay." I reassured her.

"But I realllly miss you." She whined.

"On a different note, you cut bri off?" I asked.

"I did but then she came storming in and we sorted everything out." She shrugged.

"Well, who's next after me?"

"Mrs. Rice suggested Brenna but I was never good friends with her. I mean she did give maya photos of my past but there's no hard feelings so... Dove?"

"That should be fun." I quickly responded.

"It's Dove, Gabe, I get to see you again, Karan, Lauryn, You again, My dad, Sierra, You.. Again, Mom, Sophie and then Thomas." She rolled her eyes as his name left her mouth, "I want him to stand on a cliff and-"

"No!" I chuckled, "Don't say it. You don't mean it."

"Oh I do, Cam." Chi said sternly.

"Did you want to push me off a cliff once?"

"Don't act like you never thought about doing it to me." China shrugged.

"Fair enough." I added while we both started laughing. Soulmate is what I thought of immediately after. I don't think I will ever love anyone this much or have loved anyone this much before. Even when we were on bad terms I knew she would forever be my soulmate.

"Whatcha thinking about freckle face?"

"You.. always you." I smiled as I got one in return. Her smile simply faded and I could tell she was thinking.

"What did you do those two years? Like besides highkey hate me. What did you do when we weren't speaking?"

"Like who all I dated?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess. How did you and Karan get past it so quickly? W-Why did you tell dove that I slept with Thomas when I only kissed him? Did you ever want to work things out before we actually did?"

"Why are you asking this now?" I questioned.

"Because we never discussed it with Mrs. Rice and she's not here. I just feel like we still have things to discuss."

"Okay..." I started off, "I had a fling with Sophie, that Chick Madison Pettis, and I lowkey dated Fivel and of course Brenna.

"STEWART?" China sat up, "I would comment on the age but I can't really say anything. Tell me about it. All of them."

"Sophie... Sophie was like 3 months after you and we messed around for a little bit but I wasn't feeling it anymore and I know she secretly hates me for it but my heart didn't want her." I continued, "Madison? Madison was just boring if I'm being honest and I know that's bad to say but she was bad at keeping a conversation, and Fivel.. Yeah, that just happened. We were together for about seven months and I did love her.. she was so much fun but I was immature." I chuckled, "and then Brenna.. we got together shortly before you and I started talking again and I hate to admit this but I treated her like absolute shit at first, but I liked her. I knew once you came back into my life for good there was no chance with her." I explained.

"Fivel Stewart." China processed, "I'm trying to picture it but I can't."

"She was a good one." I added, "but no one is you."

"Hm." She smiled.

"Karan and I.. I didn't want to lose my friendship with him so we hashed it out a few days afterwards and I know that's hard for you to hear but.." I paused, "I did try to see you. I went to Atlanta because Boo said you would be there but your Dad told me that you went to boarding school somewhere near Atlanta and basically told me that you weren't interested in speaking to me." I shrugged off the hurt feelings and the pain.

"My dad did a lot of shady shit." She huffed, "that's gonna be a tough therapy session."

"Didn't you already have a conversation with him?" I asked.

"Yeah but.. I just want to know more. I still don't feel loved by him.. I still feel as if he resents me." She confessed, "but on a different note.. Dove and Thomas?"

"I was angry, China. She was angry also and so I started spitting out things. I didn't know if you were sleeping with him or not. If I never came in that night on you two making out you probably would have. Dove loved you and as much as you hate to hear this.. that's a friendship that will never be the same no matter how many therapy sessions you do."

"I learned that when we apologized for some of the things the first time."

"Then why do a therapy session?" I asked.

"Maybe there's hope?" She questioned and stood up when she got uncomfortable.

"Chi I didn't mean to make you upset."

"You didn't make me upset. You're just saying things I don't want to hear." She said calmly.

"Not everyone is me."

"I don't want to hear it."

"You hurt a lot of people." I continued.

"STOP!" China screamed, "I don't want to hear it. Why can't I just believe that there's hope for old friendships?" China asked, sat on the floor and started tugging on her hair while silently crying.

"I just don't want you to get your hopes up." I said softly.

"Noted. See you in a few days." She said coldly.

"What?" I questioned, "Chi you can't do this. You can't block me out."

"See you in a few days." She repeated herself once more.

"Yeah." I nodded, "I love you." I sighed before walking out.
