China

"What did you and Mr. Boyce talk about when you left here a week ago." Mrs. rice started off. Cameron looked at me with the okay to speak first and I nodded with approval.

"Um, we basically talked and apologized for everything we did to each other. We talked about China's depression and Anxiety and her way of coping with it was Drugs, Alcohol and Sex-"

"Let me stop you before we go anywhere else." Mrs. Rice paused, "Are you okay with talking about the things you did to each other?"

"Cameron just said a bunch of hurtful things and rumors. I did the damage and I'm tired of reliving the past." I sighed, "I'm aware it's going to follow me though."

"Mr. Boyce? Do you have anything to say about that? What rumors is she talking about?" Mrs. Rice asked. I could see that Cameron hesitated because some of the stuff that said on the truth stuff was really personal.

"One thing we didn't talk about was me apologizing for saying you had a sexual relationship with your uncle."

"Please don't." I whispered.

"Did you have a sexual relationship with your uncle?" Mrs. Rice asked.

"Ummmm." I looked down, "No. I was sexually assaulted by my uncle when I was 10 years old. That's when I first met Cameron and he's the only person I told up until right now." I sighed, "and Cameron-"

"I told everyone a really hurtful lie." Cameron whispered.

"Ms. McClain, this might be personal but do you think you being sexually assaulted when you were younger was the cause of you leading into drugs, Alcohol and sex?"

"I-" I paused, "Do I have to talk about this? I will never be ready to talk to anybody about it ever again."

"I think it might be helpful." She responded.

"I think that I have done a very good job at forgetting that happened. I was introduced to drugs and alcohol and I don't feel like that I slept with a lot of people to forget about it. There was a completely different incident later down the road that might have influenced my decisions." I sighed.

"Would you like to talk about that incident, Miss McClain." She smiled. I looked at Cameron because this was a big thing we didn't talk about but I'm sure he knew because of Dove.

"Just before I turned fifteen I slept with someone who was in his late thirties, I got pregnant and I aborted the baby." My eyes started to fill with tears, "I- I found out that he was my friends, now best friend,Bri, it was her  dad."

"I can tell you don't talk about this much." She smiled sadly, "Did you know Mr. Boyce?"

"I knew." He whispered.

"Ive only talked about it when I told my dad- he put me in rehab afterwards and then I told Bri but after Cameron's friend Dove told her."

"How did Dove know? And what was Bri's initial reaction."

"Dove and I were very close until I messed things up with Cameron and I made out with her boyfriend." I shook my head, "I ruined Bri's family. I-I" I broke down in tears.

"Chi." Cameron grabbed my hand. "He knew what he was doing. He knew you were underage and he still cheated on his wife."

"It's called statutory rape. He should be in jail." Mrs. Rice explained. "I'm shocked your father never went to the police about it or about your uncle."

"He doesn't know about my uncle and I haven't been that close with my family so avoiding my uncle isn't hard. I can't go to the police. I have done so many bad things and I've finally accepted the damage I've done." I paused, "but I will admit I did sleep with a lot of people after that happened to me. I didn't care anymore." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Do you ever feel the urge to apologize to the people you have hurt one by one?" Mrs. Rice added on.

"Of course." I responded quickly, "but my priority is Cameron."

"I would be okay if other people came with you. It doesn't always have to be just me." Cameron pointed out.

"You're the reason why I agreed to this though because I'm in love with you not everyone else." I groaned.

"Just sleep on it, okay?" Mrs. Rice smiled, "Now, let's talk about what happened between you and Cameron after you left here."

"After we had a lot of honest conversations I thought we were ready for that step." Cameron spoke up.

"And I told him we weren't." I sighed.

"When did you realize that you felt you made a Mistake, Cameron?" Mrs. Rice asked.

"After China fell asleep I just stared at her for two hours thinking about how much I loved her and how much I didn't want either of us to get hurt. It hit me that I wasn't ready and it was just an impulse decision to avoid her." Cameron admitted.

"Did you think about how much it would hurt China? To avoid her and-"

"Flirt with your ex and have her in your room afterwards." I interrupted.

"Brenna wasn't in my room to meet me. She was there to see Karan who got in from L.A a few hours beforehand." Cameron snapped. I could help but chuckle before it didn't make sense to me.

"So did you not give a crap about Brenna? Are you going to spread false information about her also?" I asked.

"No it's not like that. I cared about Brenna but we had a long conversation that morning after I left and she had feelings for Karan so I set them up. Brenna and I knew it was never going to go anywhere if you were in my life. She knew before I did that I'm still in love with you." Cameron paused, "Your history with Karan is so much different than with Brenna." Cameron continued. I knew that but I over reacted.

"Okay." I whispered, "I understand. I'll let that go and I'll go to therapy with old friends to hash out things only if we make things official. We don't have to go public with it but I love you and I'm not going to hurt you."

"Okay." Cameron smiled.

"Okay?" I questioned.

"Let's give this a second Chance. Will you be My girlfriend China Anne McClain?"

"Of course." I fished with no hesitation and chuckled.

"I love this job." Mrs. Rice giggled.
