10 years later ************
Nonies POV
It's now 10 years later and I must say I grew a lot as a person and I worked really hard to get where I am.I am a tv personality and right now I'm on my way out my house in sandton to go see if my dress for the music awards is ready
I take a quick shower get dressed in a black mini skirt and a red body suit and finish the look off with boitys heels I put my hair in a messy bun and apply light make-up and I'm on my way out.I say my goodbye to auntyMavis(The house helper) and head out.Im running late as always and I hate being late especially if it's meeting a designer I call up my assistant Octavia to inform Gert that I'm an hour late and I'll pay him extra for being late...I'm famished so I make a quick stop by Mac Donalds order my meal and head straight to Gert
I arrive there 25 minutes late not so late and I quickly fit the dress because I have to dash to another meeting after this one.The dress is perfect it hugs me in all the right places and it's different(The dress is a corset dress with beads hanging from it potryaing the dress to be wet like it came out of the water it went just above my knee and I loved it).I absolutely couldn't wait to put it on tonight I write out Gerts check and again I'm on my way out I make a quick stop at the garage to fill up my car with gas while waiting I decide to go in and buy myself snacks while the guy is busy pumping my tires I got to the till and realized I have no cash on me and they don't swipe I pout in sadness and I'm about to go put the things back when a 6'4 not that light in complexion but had pink lips that really pop out and he was wearing a suit the I'm serious kind of suit.He was exquisite he was clean and he smelled good
Him:Uhm I'll pay for her
Me:(Stares at him)No it's okay I'll just put these back
Him:(Takes out a hundred Rand note and pays for my stuff after I said it's okay)I'm doing what any gentleman would do
Me:(Smiling)Oh well thank you Mr....
Him:Just call me Jay
Me:Jay oh okay I better get going then
Him:Without telling me your name
Me:Nonie the famous Tv presenter(Frowning my face I'm surprised as to why you would ask me that)
Him:I'm not a fan of Tv
Me:Billboards!!!
Him:Hey lady i don't know you okay I guess you haven't made it in life that much if I don't know you
Me:(Getting irritated)No I guess you live under a rock and your life is very boring ask your wife about me she probably knows me
Him:I don't recall wearing a wedding ring so which wife
Me:A guy like you isn't married
Him:Haven't found the right one whose not in it for the money
Me:Well stop looking in the wrong places
Him:Well how about we exchange numbers have lunch sometime next week when you free and you can show me the right places
Me:(Thinking about it) Sure why not
I gave him numbers said my goodbyes and headed out.I got to my business meeting and we were looking at the sales my book was making...I must say I was impressed and I was on the road to starting my own reality show Theres more to Nonie.The meeting ended and we said our goodbyes and it was time for me to get my show on the road I arrived at the music awards and went to my dressing room waiting for my assistant...Octavia knows how much I hate incompetence so her being late is really not what i need right now and I go on set in the next 45 minutes and she's still not here I'm done with my hair and make-up and just as I'm about to call her she walks in with the dress apologizing for being late I don't have time to reprimand her right now so I get in my corset and they put the dress on we take a few snaps and it's time to get on stage being on that stage was very overwhelming and it took a lot of courage but I got better as the years went by...The night was finally over and again we did it !!!! I aced that shit we went to take a few pictures on the red carpet and it was time to go back home I needed the sleep cause tomorrow I have a photoshoot for the cover magazine of Cosmopolitan
