Next Saturday rolled around pretty quickly. Once Leanne had gone to bed, Natalie was preparing the final thing for her birthday.
"Lexi, can you turn the printer on please?"
"Sure, babe" came the response.
"How much did you all agree on?" Natalie asked the group.
"£50" Vicky replied.
Natalie typed something out on the computer and added a few images.
"Done!"
She went and got the print-out, smiled to herself then went back to her seat. She rolled it up and put a piece of ribbon around it. She then went and brought down some presents she had hidden in her bedroom.
"Thanks so much for all your help everyone" Natalie exclaimed sarcastically.
The next morning Natalie woke up early, early for her which was 2:00.
She went downstairs and started cooking breakfast. They were going to have pancakes, with a mass amount of topping available for the others to choose. Didn't want any pancakes, she want pancakes in the shape of hearts and their favourite colours. It took her 4 hours to create everyone pancake and arranged all the toppings.
Everyone thought she was completely mental when she knocked their doors at 6:00 telling everyone to get up for breakfast. Vicky, Grace and Aimie were the most willing to get up but still moaned.
J'jaye and Millie were still tired from staying up till 1:30 in a competition and Courtney, Maiya and Lexi were just not morning people. To be honest, the only morning person in the whole house was Natalie. She knocked on her daughter's door.
"Happy Birthday darling"
"What time is it?" Leanne grudged.
"It's six"
"I'm tired..."
"But I've made breakfast" Natalie put on a sad voice to try and get her downstairs. Natalie always went big on celebrations. She would spend hours cooking and preparing to make sure everything was perfect - she'd really out done her self this year. Nat left her to get up.
When Leanne walked into the kitchen everyone starting singing 'Happy Birthday' Leanne went all red faced and sat down in the only empty space. Natalie had made little place names for everyone, to make sure that Leanne sat at the head of the table.
"Let's play a game of 'how long has Nat been up to make this," Maiya suggested.
"Well if it is 6:30 now, I think she woke up at 5, so 1 and a half." Vicky said logically.
"2 hours" Grace said confidently.
"I agree with Grace, 2 hours" Maiya added.
"I think it's longer than that, you know what? I think it's 3 hours'" Aimie put forward. "I really do"
"2 and a quarter" Courtney added.
"I agree with Auntie Aimie, 3 hours," Leanne remarked.
"I agree with Grace and Maiya, 2 hours" Millie added.
"3 and a half" Lexi and J'jaye said simultaneously. Then burst into laughter.
"I woke up at two" Natalie announced
"J'jaye, half an hour after we went to bed!!" Millie exclaimed
"I still won..." J'Jaye made sure Millie wouldn't forget.
After everyone finished, they went to the lounge to open presents.
"Present time!" Lexi sung very loudly.
"Oohhhhhhh" Vicky added for suspense.
"Right, the box is your main present from everyone and the others are just from Nat and Aimie." Maiya announced.
Once she'd opened all the little presents, which accumulated to a outfit, Courtney passed her the box, inside the box was a letter.
"Dear Leanne," she read allowed.
"The outfit from Aimie and Natalie is for you to wear when you go:
- bowling with Auntie Millie
- get your nails done with Auntie J'jaye and Auntie Lexi
- and see a West- end show with Auntie Grace, Auntie Vicky and Auntie Courtney
And
When you go to a shopping centre and spend £500 on what ever you want. Happy 15th Birthday, Lots of love from,
Mum, J'jaye, Millie, Lexi, Aimie, Maiya, Vicky, Courtney and Grace."
"It's £50 from everyone but your Mum put in an extra £50 to round it up" Courtney added.
"Thank you everyone, I am genuinely speechless"
