Chapter 11

Millie dropped Leanne off at the salon.
"Bye!"
"Ooh, girls, what'cha gonna get?"
" I was thinking like an orange to white ombre" I replied.
"Well, I don't know actually, maybe like gold with black stripes" J'jaye answered
"You just said 'I don't know' then give something pretty accurate." Lexi laughed as we went inside.

"Booking for Lexi Mcintosh, J'Jaye Richard-Noel and Leanne Paris," Lexi asked the lady behind the counter.
"Come this way, " They followed the lady down across the room and into another long room.
"So, Lexi, you're at the end with Sarah, J'jaye, you're in the middle with Faye and Leanne you're on the end with me, My name is Paula."

They all went and sat down.
"So Leanne, what colours would you like?"
"I would like, like an orange to white ombre please"
"Ooh very polite, your parents taught you well, " She said, picking up the nail vanish.
"Actually, it's just my mum, I don't think I've ever met my dad, but I'm very close to my 'Aunts'" Leanne said looking down.
"True dat, " Lexi said from across the room.
"My mum was quite young when she had me so.."
"How old was she? If you don't mind me asking..."
"No, it's completely fine. She was 17,"
"Oh okay,"
"We live in a house of ten people, and other than me, my mum's the youngest and the only one with a child"
"Her mother, Natalie, is also the most responsible, " J'jaye added.

After another 10 minutes or so, the trio were finished. They went and paid and then stepped outside.
"Ooh, I've got missed calls from literally everyone" J'jaye announced.
"Same, " Lexi replied.
Aimie then called J'jaye.
"Hello?"

"Natalie's in the hospital, come asap!" Aimie said in one breath, she then hung up.

"Right, we need to go now!" J'jaye hurred everyone.
"Why?" Leanne asked.
"Your mum's in the hospital!" J'jaye blurted out.
