4 years later. Aimie walked in to Leanne's bed room, switching the light on and perching herself on the edge on the bed.

"Le, huni, happy birthday," She whispered. "You're an adult now," She let out a small, almost insignificant laugh, stroking Leanne's blonde hair back.

She gave her Aunt a small smile. No one had ever smiled properly in the last half a decade. "Thank you," She whispered, "Today is meant to be the best day of my life so far, but I think it'll be the hardest," She maintained a honest whisper.

"I'm so sorry darling, no one should have to go through what you are right now, no one," She kissed her forehead. "Now, you do still have a party to go to, so shall we get you ready?"

She nodded and got out of the bed, changing swiftly into her elegant ball gown. It hugged her torso, the pink silk running round every slim curve. The girls had helped her get better. But nothing was the same, it never had been and it never will be. As she walked towards Aimie, the light glimmered off each individual jewell

"So, " She took a deep breath and lifted her shoulders, "What do you think?"

Aimie put a hand over her mouth as she let a few tears run down, "That you look just like your mother, " She opened her arms, Leanne diving into them immediately.

"I still need my mum, " She sobbed.
