Aimie sat on the sofa, next to Vicki, texting Maiya.

"Vicki?" She asked, waiting for Maiya to respond. She looked up from her phone.

"Yes, Aimie?"

"You know that thing that Leanne spoke to us about like a week or so ago? When we went into her room at like 3 in the morning,"

"Yes... well kind of," She turned and faced Aimie, slightly confused as to what she was going to say next.

"Nat barely told me anything 15 years ago and... I just kinda learnt to avoid the topic," Aimie said, brushing hair out of her eyes.

"Okay?" Vicki was bewildered as to why Aimie was bringing this up now.

"So, so what I'm saying is... I think this is getting to Leanne more than we realise and I think it's also playing on Natalie's mind,"

"Well, why would you say that?"

"Just," Aimie sighed "Neither of them have been the same since she told us," She looked down at her phone to see if Maiya had texted her back. Nothing. The last message she sent was when the doctor was coming back to reassess Nat.

"Well, we can't get involved in this right now!" Vicki exclaimed."Natalie's in flipping hospital!"

"I know that!" Aimie paused for a second. "But, we have to soon,"

"Hmm, " Vicki was about to speak but was cut off by a ping from Aimie's phone.

"Maiya said Nat's been discharged!" Skim-reading the paragraph, Aimie exclaimed.

"That's great! Wait, don't you need to wake Leanne?"

"Yeah, but I'll do it in another 30 minutes. The poor girl hasn't had more than 3 hours sleep," Aimie tilted her head to one side.

"Okay, that's a good idea. Also, I would email her form tutor just so they are aware, "

"Ah, Yeah, I'll do it now. Then I'll go and wake up Leanne,"
