You woke up in your bed, still a bit soaked from last night. When you came home, you hadn't bothered to change.

You wondered why you felt so awful when seeing Jungkook happy with another girl. Was this because it was her making him laugh and not you? Was it because he was your best friend and you felt betrayed?

Or was it because you wished it was your hand holding his? Did it hurt you to see his pretty bunny smile showing for someone else? Your heart fell to your stomach as you saw how pretty she was. You caught yourself staring at yourself in the mirror as you thought about this. Was Jungkook attracted to her? You felt suddenly upset again.

"It's definitely just best friend jealousy," you whispered to yourself and stretched. You reminded yourself that Jungkook was YOUR best friend and wouldn't leave you for the world. Not after such a long time together, right?

You picked up your phone to not find a single good morning text from him. This was extremely odd, seeing as he sent them every day. You texted a quick, "good morning loser".

Your message was left on delivered for the whole morning until you got to school. Jungkook didn't come to pick you up as he always did... You assumed he slept in by accident and made your way to school. You waited for him where you always did when he was late. He was taking quite a long time. You checked your Instagram for fun.

However, his Instagram story had a single slide on it. It was the picture of a girl with her face covered shyly, a coffee cup in front of her and one closer to the camera.

Oh.

He was getting coffee with a girl.. Was it the girl from last night? You clicked the username in the picture and found an account.

Your jaw dropped.

It's the same girl... and she was hot.

You felt frustration building up inside of you as you put your phone in your pocket. Jungkook didn't tell you he was going out for coffee and you waited so long for him at the meet up spot. He couldn't even bother to answer your message although he was clearly on his phone!

You scoffed and felt a hand touch your shoulder. You turned around angrily to make direct eye contact with the intruder of your thoughts.

"Good morning, y/n!" Taehyung greeted you sweetly. Your anger subsided slightly and you softened.

"G-Good morning, Tae," you answered quickly. His hand lifted towards your face and his finger swiped your cheek. His facial expression became extremely worried.

"Why are you crying? Are you alright?" He asked as he grabbed your hand. As much as you didn't wanna do it, you hugged him tightly and cried into his chest. He instantly wrapped his arms around you and whispered comforting "it's okay"s .

You did something for the first time that day.

You skipped class.

Why?

Jungkook was in that class and you were so upset with him. You couldn't bare to look at him. He didn't tell you he wasn't going to pick you up, he didn't meet you where he does, he doesn't answer your message, and now he's happily drinking coffee with some random bitch?

You were furious. He's supposed to be your best friend.

Taehyung led you to a spot where he went when he skipped. He sat you down and handed you a crumbled up pack of tissues he found deep in his backpack. You chuckled at it and thanked him. He sat next to you and put an arm around your shoulders.

"Wanna talk about it now?" He asked sweetly. You sniffled and looked around the janitors closet.

"This place is so cliché," you laughed half-heartedly. Taehyung smiled and nodded.

"I know, but the janitor hates this place. He'd rather not work at all," he answered and suddenly you felt a little better.

"It's Jungkook," you whispered after a few seconds.

"Jungkook? The boy that went with you to my party?"

"Yeah... Him."

"What happened, did he do something to you?" Taehyung asked, clearly concerned.

"He- He didn't do anything bad... I guess I feel like my best friend is being taken from me," you laughed.

"Oh. I see."

"Do you... Have feelings for him maybe?" Taehyung asked cautiously.

"No!" You answered quickly without thinking about it, "Of course not."

However, you felt guilty with your answer. You don't know if what you said was true, but you wanted to believe your words.

"Well, if it makes you feel even a little better... You can hang out with me when he's not with you," he offered. You nodded slowly.

"That would be nice," you responded with a soft smile. He made you feel better, you forgot that this boy made you nervous. You didn't feel as love dizzy as you did before. Maybe this is what building a friendship with your crush feels like.

After going to second period, Jungkook sped up to you. His heart was beating quick.

"Gosh! Where have you been?" He laughed nervously as he wrapped his arms around you.

"Where have I been? Where've you been?!" You pushed him off. His heart dropped and he felt a stab in his stomach.

"What?"

"Don't act stupid, you avoided me all morning! I didn't even know if you were gonna come pick me up!" You yelled at him in the hallways.

"I- I meant to text you."

"Sure. Whatever, it doesn't matter anymore. I hope you had fun with your new friend," you said before turning your back on him and leaving to third period.

You left him standing there with his heart torn out of his chest.

This was your first argument.
