Lacey's POV
I woke up the next morning to the most annoying sound ever. My alarm. It sounded like a dying cat. I slammed my hand down on top of it and it shut up immediantely. I rolled over, trying to get some more sleep, but my mum had different plans...
"No you don't! Up! Get up and dressed! you need to be ready in time!" She chirped. Chirped? How the hell is my mum this happy at 6:00am?! I thought to myself. I dragged myself out of bed and crawled over to my bathroom.

After I had showered, dried my hair, done my make-up(concealer,eyeliner and mascara) and got dressed, I made my way downstairs to have breakfast. When I walked into the kitchen, I saw my mum had gona far out and made me pancakes with syrup:) Awwww, I thought. Tears started to prick my eyes as I realsised there was a possability that I wouldn't see my parents till Christmas. " Awww honey, don't cry. It'll be okay." My dad said, as he hugged me. " I'm gonna miss you daddy." I whispered, " Shhh. It's okay." He said back. My mum joined in the hug and we were just standing there in the kitchen hugging for ages.

After my breakfast we loaded the car and headed for the train station. What is they make a big scene and people stare at us weirdly? I thought, Or what if someone recognizes me?! I think I started hyperventilating because my mum looked at me worriedly and said "Honey, calm down."

We arrived at the train station with about half an hour to spare and, since I booked my ticket before-hand, I turned around to face my parents. This is it. I thought as the tears started streaming down my face. I gave them a massive hug and whispered, "I'll miss you so much." My mum stroked my hair and said,"We'll miss you more. You go on now and make us proud." We broke apart and I started walking up the stairs to the platform. But before I reached the top I turned round and blew them a kiss.

I waited till I saw my trains name on the board and stood up. The train came into veiw and I gathered my luggage.
Here I go...
