I'm the type of person na uuwi agad from work pero simula nang maging close kami sa barkada nila Arvic ay nasasanay na akong may lakad lalo pag Friday at weekends.
Pepper is out of town again kaya wala akong kasama.
Pauwi na ako nang biglang tumawag sa akin si Nico at nagtatanong kung nasaan ako.
"Mamaya ka na umuwi. Tara sama ka sa amin! Chill lang."
Parang bigla ako nabuhayan. "Pwede naman. Saan ba?"
"Wala pang place pero daanan ka ni Andrew dyan."
"Andrew?" I asked because I might have heard it wrong. Never akong dinaanan ni Andrew sa kahit anong lakad. It's always Arvic.
Seating in Andrew's front seat feels weird. Hindi ako sanay.
"Don't feel bad pero bakit ikaw nagsundo sa akin?" Tanong ko.
He just shrugged. "May kasama si Arvic."
Oh.
Pumunta kami sa rooftop bar ni Criss. Hinanap agad ng mata ko si Arvic at 'yung kasama niya pero wala pa sila. Good thing Trisha is here though.
"Why does he have to pick her up? I don't like her kahit hindi ko siya kilala." I hear her saying to Vince. "Sino ba kasi 'yun?"
Right on cue they arrived. The girl he is with is gorgeous. As in artistahin gorgeous. She has short hair, small face and she is tall. Halos magkasing tangkad sila ni Arvic.
Arvic looked surprised to see me. I could say the same.
Kaya pala hindi niya ako niyaya dahil may iba siyang niyaya. So talagang paasa niya lang 'yung mga ginagawa at sinasabi niya sa akin these past few months.
The girl smiled and kissed the guys on the cheek. Even Vince kaya sumimangot si Trisha.
"Kamusta?" Patrick greeted.
"Same old. Grabe traffic pa rin dito sa Philipines. Good thing Arvic was able to pick me up." She smiled.
Tahimik ang mga boys at hindi ako sanay. They seemed familiar with each other but it's obvious that they don't like her.
"Trisha, you know her, my sister and girlfriend ni Vince." Arvic started and turned to me. "And Mandy."
"Just Mandy? Sinong boyfriend niya sa inyo?"
"I'm just Mandy." Ako na ang sumagot.
Nagkatinginan kami ni Arvic at siya ang unang nag iwas ng tingin. That's a first.
"Enah, a friend."
"So friend nalang ako ngayon? Ganon?"
Arvic groaned and rolled his eyes. "Don't."
"Don't be so uptight." She said and turned to Vince. "Is Criss here? I'll get us drinks."
She even know Criss?
Sinamahan siya ni Arvic kumuha ng drinks. Si Trisha ang unang nagsalita. "Anong meron? Sino 'yun?"
"May something lang sa kanila nung college." Sagot ni Andrew.
"Hindi ko alam na nag-uusap pa rin sila. She always try to flirt with everyone." Sabi ni Nico.
"Ano? Nilandi ka rin ba nun, Velasco?"
"Not us. Thank God. Kuya mo lang." Sagot ni Andrew.
"Well I guess there's still something." Trisha said and pointed.
Napatingin rin ako sa tinuro niya. The three of them are laughing at hinampas ni Enah ang braso ni Arvic.
What am I even doing here? I feel like I'm making this awkward. Arvic didn't invite me so that means he doesn't want me here.
"Akala ko nga may something sa inyo."
