Hindi na naulit ang pagpunta ni Arvic sa bahay kahit na sinabi niyang mas gusto niya doon tumambay.
Aside from the small couch that he likes so much, walang Trisha sa bahay.
Kanina pa siya nagrereklamo pero walang pakialam 'yung kapatid niya which is super funny. Ang ginawa ni Arvic ay nanadya nalang siya. Sometimes I feel like I'm the thirdwheel when they start teasing each other.
Nanonood kami ng TV pero nakikita ko sa peripherals ko na masama ang tingin ni Trisha sa amin. Nakasiksik kasi ako kay Arvic and he has his arm draped over me.
She keeps on grunting and expressing how annoyed she is of us. Hindi siya pinansin ni Arvic at mas lalong inasar ang kapatid dahil hinalikan niya pa ako sa ulo.
"Ugh, for the last time can you not do that? Kadiri kayo." Trisha covered her face using a throw pillow.
"As if hindi kayo naglalandian ni Vince sa harap ko."
"Excuse me, hindi kaya kami naglalandian ni Velasco sa harap mo." Trisha said defensively.
I nudged Arvic with my elbow para tigilan na mang asar.
"Mandy, you know I love you pero please can you guys like go upstairs or somewhere?" She pleaded.
Napatingin ako kay Arvic.
"Bakit hindi ikaw ang umakyat? Hindi ka ba lalabas? Wala kang date?" Tinaasan siya ng kilay ni Arvic.
"Ako ang nauna dito. Besides pupunta si Vince and he is never allowed upstairs unless pwede?" Aniya.
"No." He said sternly.
Napailing nalang ako dahil alam ko namang naghahamon lang si Trisha. Pareho sila ng ugali kaya walang nananalo sa tuwing nagtatalo sila. They both know that so in the end Arvic will just let his sister win.
"Okay lang sayo sa kwarto?" Tinanong ako ni Arvic.
It's not like I've never been to his room. Nakatulog na nga ako sa kama niya so why not?
Bago umakyat ay nakita kong kinindatan ni Trisha ang Kuya niya at malaki ang ngiti niya.
Umupo ako sa dulo ng kama niya at sa may study table naman si Arvic pumwesto.
I didn't realize how awkward this is.
"I need to tell you something bago mo pa 'to malaman kay Vince." Sabi niya.
"Ano 'yun?" Bigla akong kinabahan. Nothing good comes after that.
"I'm going on a business trip. 4 days lang naman."
Bigla akong nalungkot. "Kailan?"
"This weekend. I need to check something and canvas."
Hindi ako nagsalita. Tumayo siya at nilapitan ako.
He cupped my cheek and drew circles. "I know this is sudden. Pwede naman ako hindi pumunta. I can meet the supplier via Skype."
"Ano ka ba, business comes first. Nalungkot lang ako pero babalik ka naman. 4 days lang 'yun, kaya ko 'yun."
"You can come here anytime you want. Hangout with Trisha and bring Pepper if you want. Just make sure hindi aakyat si Vince ng kwarto niya habang wala ako."
"I'm sure alam na ni Trisha 'yan." Natatawa kong sabi. Kapatid pa rin niya ang inaalala niya.
He bent down to kiss me on my forehead. "And you behave."
"Kailan ba ako hindi nagbehave? Wala naman akong kalokohan. I don't even like going out of the house."
"I'm just saying." He shrugged. "Sumama ka pag tatambay sila para hindi ka malungkot."
"But limits, okay, alam ko na 'yan lahat. Para mo akong kapatid sa mga bilin mo."
"You know how the guys can be."
Tumango ako.
He ran his thumb over my lips. "I love you."
He bent down. I'm expecting a kiss on the forehead. What I didn't expect is our first kiss that is currently happening.
It was a soft kiss first before he pulled me in for a deeper kiss. I pulled him closer by his collar.
I just feel like this is not enough to cover the 4 days he is going to be away. Ngayon palang namimiss ko na siya.
Bumaba ang kamay niya sa bewang ko. He squeezed my waist as he kissed me deeper. His tongue glided across my lips and I parted for him.
"Mandy." He whispered.
I hummed. He pulled away and rest his forehead on mine while we both catch our breath.
That was one hell of a first kiss!
Who would've thought that a guy who has no experience in love and relationship can kiss like this?
Then it hit me. I took a step back and narrowed my eyes. "Who did you kiss before me?"
"What?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Arvic.
"You can't possibly kiss like that kung wala kang experience."
"We just kissed tapos 'yan ang masasabi mo?"
"That's why I'm asking. So sino? Si Enah?" Nanliit ang mata ko.
Si Enah lang ang kilala kong nakasomething niya so I can't think of anyone right now.
"No, not her."
Tumaas ang kilay ko. He is not making this better by saying it's not Enah. So may iba pa?
"It was just a kiss. Random girls from parties." He said defensively.
"So you're saying kissing random girls is normal? I can't believe this! Wala kang girlfriend pero marami ka nang nahalikan."
"I didn't say that. You asked! It's not like I'm still kissing random girls."
"What?" Tumaas ang boses ko.
"All I'm saying is wala lang 'yun. Those kisses were different from our kiss. You had a boyfriend before me and I'm not saying anything."
"Nevermind. Uuwi na ako." Dinampot ko ang bag ko at lumabas ng kwarto niya.
Nakasalubong ko si Trisha. "Oh uuwi ka na agad?"
"Shit! Trisha, wag mong paalisin si Mandy." Narinig ko si Arvic.
Trisha looked at Arvic then at me. I didn't expect what she did next. She held unto my arm and shrugged. "Sorry, he's still my brother."
Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Arvic.
"Thanks, sis." He said and pulled me back to his room again.
Sinandal niya ako sa pinto pagkasara nito at nilagay ang palad sa magkabilang side ng ulo ko.
"Makinig kang mabuti because I'm only saying this once. Those kisses don't have any meaning until you. Do you have any idea what your kisses does to me? I chose you. I don't care if there's someone before me so you should feel the same. I don't even remember their names. Pero ikaw? I will never forget you. Tandaan mo 'yan."
Wala akong nasagot sa sinabi niya. Napatitig nalang ako sa kanya. Hinihingal pa siya sa paghabol at pagsasalita at hindi ko napigilan mapatingin sa lips niya.
Hindi pa ako nakarecover sa halik niya kanina at hinalikan nanaman niya ako.
It was slow at first. Testing if I'm still mad. He kiss me harder when he knew I'm not going to push him away. I returned his kisses and all the anger just went away.
Hindi ko na alam bakit ako nagagalit. Siguro nagtatampo lang ako na hindi ako ang first. I wanted to be his first kiss badly. I want all of Arvic and I never felt this way towards anyone before.
He slightly tugged at my bottom lips before he pulled away. "Wag ka na magalit."
Paano pa ako magagalit kung ganyan siya?
