Betty's POV:

A fresh start. A place where I'm not noticed on every road I walk on. A new life. A new me.

I'm Elizabeth cooper well that's what I'm know as I actually prefer when I'm called Betty but I built up my status with the name Elizabeth.

Ive lived in New York my whole life with my parents. At a young age my mum signed me up for a few adverts due to the low amount of money we had, after that I was part of a movie which soon grew to a few more films. That's the way of my life, I've been brought up acting for money.

Since I've made a high status for myself my life has been extremely strict. My parent have complete control over everything I do, but after my mum saw the state I was in she soon realized I needed a break. A long break. She convinced my father to move to a small town named Riverdale so I could finish my school year in an actual school and not online, so I can achieve the best I can.

I had said my goodbyes to all my team mates (makeup artist, wardrobe designer etc) and cried in my friends arms for the last time I would see them in a long time. Me and my family got into the car and drove to our new life.

We had moved in a family house on this road called Elm Street. It was a nice orange brick color with a bold red door. My room was made of pastel colors, mainly baby pink. In my room was a beautiful French furniture set ,my bed, desk, wardrobe and dresser. My wardrobe was filled with clothes that I wanted to wear during a casual day, all of my clothes for events had been shut in another wardrobe in the attic.

The next day

It was my first day at Riverdale high, and I chose to wear a denim skirt with a plain pastel pink loose sweater tucked in, my hair was in a ponytail with a few strands of hair flowing from my parting, I slid on plain with converses and grabbed my backpack. I walked downstairs and grabbed my breakfast shake, which I had every morning for my meal.

Once I finished I brushed my teeth said bye to my parents and sister and walked to the car. Our family driver drove me to school and dropped me outside. When I stepped out I looked around taking in my surroundings. A big dark building with teenagers packed in groups.

I walked into the entrance and got a few stares and heard a few whispered. I remember what my father said 'keep your head down we don't need anybody noticing you.'
I walked of down a hallway that had signs leading to the office.
As I stepped into the room I was greeted with a smiling woman 'hi you must be Elizabeth c-' she started but I cut her off. 'Sorry to be rude but can you not say my last name im trying to keep a low profile' I smiled, she nodded in response. 'Veronica Lodge please make your way to the office. Veronica Lodge' she said into a microphone which soon repeated through speakers placed all around the school.

A raven haired girl walked into the room. She had amazing style and seemed nice. 'Hey you must be Elizabeth, well obviously I mean like who wouldn't know that' she said nervously. 'Yeh but you can call me Betty, I think it's time for the name Elizabeth to have a rest' I smiled. 'Ok Betty, I'm here to show you around' she smiled. I nodded and hooked my arm with hers. 'I have a feeling we're going to be amazing friends' I beamed. 'This is like a dream, I'm going to stop freaking out in my head and play it cool.' She laughed. 'You'll get use to me being around' I laughed.

'So what brings a girl like you to Riverdale?' She asked as she led me to my locker. 'A fresh start, I want a normal life' I said looking around seeing a few people whispering. 'Well if you want a high school life this is it, it's shit believe me' she laughed. 'So Veronica tell me about you, if your going to be my bestfriend I want to know everything about you' I smiled and opened my locker. 'Well I'm 17, i love to shop, I have a few close friends but i struggle with trusting people, and I'm single' she said. 'Ooooo got a crush' I smirked at her. 'No' she blushed. 'Yeh you do. Who's he?' I said as I grabbed my books and closed the locker. 'Fine. His name is Archie Andrews, but the issue is, is he doesn't like me back and also he's one of my best friends' she pouted. 'harsh stuck in the friend zone, as your new friend I solemnly swear to help you achieve the goal of getting you together with Archibald Andrews' I said putting my hand on my heart as she giggled. 'How'd you know his full name was Archibald?' She questioned. 'Please in a cliche town like this a boy named Archie, his full name has got to be Archibald, wouldn't be shocked if there was a Reginald too' I shrugged. 'Actually there is funny enough' she laughed. 'For a girl who plays a baddie bitch in a movie your really nice' Veronica smiled. 'Thank you but I can also be that bitch when needed.'

Veronica was showing me round the school and we'd been talking that long that we had lost track of time and realised it was lunch when the bells rang. 'Oh well, we only missed the first few lessons anyways' she said. She led me to the cafeteria where we got our trays of food. 'So can I sit with you or are you going to turn out to be that girl who's really not a nice but a bitch and ditch me' I giggled. 'Your not going anywhere but with me to meet my friends. Also sorry if one or two of them like faint or something, they're boys but they'll be fangirling over you' she laughed.
