It was eleven at night, Toni and Betty had baked cookies whilst blasting music. Shockingly they weren't tired, not even a little. Toni turnt the volume up as they both jumped onto Toni's bed singing and dancing along to Toni's party playlist which was mainly Ariana Grande and early 2010s music.
It was late but Toni just assumed there would be no complaints since the only people who could hear it were probably her two neighbour's trailers: The Jones' and another family that are on a vacation.
"This is so much fun!" Betty shouted over the music so Toni could hear, she nodded in agreement whilst still singing and dancing on her bed.
The next song ,Mr Brightside, began to play but was soon cut of by Toni's phone buzzing, sending a loud ringing sound blasting through the speaker. She grabbed her phone removing it from the beatbox and answering.

Toni gestured for Betty to keep quiet whilst she put the phone on loud speaker. "Hey Jughead," Toni said and Betty held in her giggle "what do you want?" She added. "Can you turn your fucking music off, I'm trying to sleep." He replied and Toni rolled her eyes. "But me and your girlfriend were dancing and singing." She teased and Betty stayed silent. "She's not my girlfriend," he scoffed, causing Betty's smile to drop and her eyebrows furrow, "we're just friends." He added. "But you guys are like all over each other all the time, is it just a hookup?" Toni said and Betty bit down on her lip knowing that if he said it was she'd storm right over to his trailer and slap him hard across the face. "Can you just turn your damn music down." He said and hung up.

The girls sat on Toni's messy bed in silence, not knowing what to say to each other. Toni let out a sigh before leaning over and grabbing the plate of cookies and placing them between the two girls. "I'm sure he's just tired and didn't want to speak to me," Toni said Betty shrugged in response, "I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. He's always grumpy." Betty picked up one of the cookies and nibbles on the edge of it as they both sat against the head board and Toni started to scroll through Netflix movies on her laptop. "We haven't even made it official," Betty began and Toni turnt her full attention on her, "it's just, when you mentioned me he sounded like he didn't like me and that I was boring or something. I understand if he's always grumpy to you or at night but whenever I speak to him he always sounds happy or enthusiastic or flirty, I just thought that if he's speaking about me he'd sound happy to be, like he want to be with me. But he spoke as if I'm just another ordinary girl that's bugging him." Betty said getting more frustrated. "My advice is just to ask him what you guys are. I'm sure a few people have warned you about his reputation, just don't fall for him completely too soon," Toni softly smiled, "let's watch this movie and go to sleep after."
They got under the covers and placed the computer between them. The girls decided on To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

The next morning arrived within a few hours after they fell asleep. Betty was the first to wake from a pounding headache, she quietly climbed out of the bed, being cautious to not wake Toni. Betty grabbed a glass of water filling it with fresh cold water before opening the trailer door and stepping out into the morning air. She sat down on the metal step that led up to the Topaz family's trailer.

After a few sips of her drink, a sudden breeze went by causing the hair on her neck to stand and goosebumps formed on her arms, as if it was meant to happen a trailer door opened. Betty looked to the side realising that it was in fact the Jones' trailer door that had opened. Jughead walked out, Betty noticed he must of just woken up since he was rubbing his eyes. He was only in his blue stripped pyjamas pants and his raven hair bounced as he stepped down the steps. He pulled his hands out his pockets holding a cigarette box and a lighter. He placed one between his lips before lighting it. Betty watched his every move, he still had not noticed her.

His eyes were focused on the sun slowly rising above the forest till Betty tried to quietly pick up her cup from beside her, but in doing so her arm hit the banister beside her. Her eyes widened when they met his and he pushed himself of the trailer wall and made his way to her. She rapidly stood up as he stopped next to her leaning on the banister. "Morning Betts, how long have you been out here for?" He asked smiling, "a few minutes," She shrugged, "I've got to go get changed. Bye." Betty added, turning on her heel and quickly walking into the trailer slamming the door shut.

Betty walked back into the bedroom and Toni sat up rubbing her eyes. "Hey girl, when did you get up? And where did you go?" She asked as Betty flopped down onto the bed. "I got up like fifteen minutes ago and went outside for fresh air, but then Jughead came out, and I tried to go but he noticed me and I panicked so as soon as he walked over to me and started a conversation, I ran inside," Betty sighed, "Do you want to go Pops? We can leave when he's not in sight." She added and Toni nodded "Yes, I need pancakes."

After Betty picked out an outfit from Toni's wardrobe and both of the girls changed, they quickly made their way out of the trailer and hopped onto Toni's motorbike, and made their way to pops.
