Chapter 14

Tuesday

Betty's POV

Today my personal trainer is coming over after school and we're going down the gym, Veronica's coming too. I got out of bed and changed into a blue pair of skinny jeans and a blue checkers shirt with a black vest underneath as I left a few buttons undone, I put my hair up into my everyday ponytail.

Once I had completed my morning routine I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder, 'I'm going to school now, bye' I yelled as I closed the door behind me and got into my car. The drive drove to the school and it was silent so I put my AirPods in and listened to my playlist full of artists like: Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Ray, some Lewis Capaldi and loads of others.

The car stopped and I got out the car and waved bye to my driver, I began heading towards the building when I heard someone call out 'Elizabeth', the name people knew me as that I didn't know, I turnt to my left and was met with a group of friends. 'Hey' I said pausing my music, 'can we get a picture?' One asked, I nodded and they pulled out a phone and we had a group photo. 'If you guys share that to any social media's please don't say the location' I asked and they all thanked me before walking off. I turnt my music back on and carried on walking to the student lounge.

I put my AirPods back into my bag and took a seat next to Archie, 'hey guys, what did I miss?' I asked, 'nothing, we were just trying to convince Kevin that he looked a lot like Casey Cott' Veronica said and held up her phone with a photo of Casey Cott on it next to Kevin. 'Oh geez, you really do' I smiled and he shook his head 'I don't see it' he laughed.

At lunch

'Wait are those rumours still going round about you and Kev' Veronica asked as we sat down at the table with the gang, 'oh yeh I forgot about them, should probably set it straight that Kevin's not Straight' I said and pulled out my phone. 'I haven't done an Instagram live in a while' I mumbled and clicked onto Instagram and started a live, placing my phone against a bottle so you could see everyone at the table. 'Hey guys' I said as the viewer rank became higher, 'the comments are hilarious. Hashtag team Kelizabeth or Ketty' Veronica giggled, 'so we thought we'd close the rumours down and let you all know that me and Kevin aren't together, Infact it would never happen since we have the same type. Male' I laughed and watched as the comments exploded.

'Hi, what's going on?' Jughead asked as he approached the table and slid in the seat next to me, 'Oh Jug, say hi to the fans' I said grabbing the phone and holding it out so they could see him. 'Hi Betty's army' he chuckled and gave the screen a cute little smile scrunching his nose. 'Anyway guys, speak to you soon' I said to the camera and ended the live, placing the phone back in my pocket.

'So what are you all doing after school?' Archie asked and bit his apple, 'me and V have a personal trainer coming to the gym, gotta keep this bod ready for my photoshoot next weekend' I said. 'So your going to the local gym?' Jughead asked and we nodded, 'and will you be wearing the cute tight gym outfits?' He smirked causing me and Veronica to laugh and nod. 'What are you up to today Archie?' Kevin asked, 'oh he's coming with me to the gym, to you know 'work out'. You can come too Kev if you want' Jughead said and I nudged him a little with my elbow making him laugh. 'I will, only so I can go stare at some hot sweaty men' Kevin laughed and we all joined in.

After school

I met with Veronica at her locker where she grabbed her bag filled with her gym wear, we headed out to the car park where my driver picked us up and dropped me and V at my house. I knocked on the door and it immediately opened revealing my mum who was dressed neatly with her hair perfectly curled. 'You must be mrs Cooper, it's great to finally meet you. I'm Veronica Lodge' V said, my mum hugged her before scutching to the side to allow us in.

Once she closed the door she led me and Veronica to the kitchen, 'I've heard so much about you sweetie, and please call me Alice, would you like anything to eat or drink' my mum smiled, 'actually mum we're going to go get ready for the gym, can you fill two bottles of water please' I said and my mum nodded. I grabbed Veronica's hand and led her up the staircase and in my room. 'It's really pretty, I love your matching furniture, girl' she smiled and looked at my vanity desk. 'Thank you, it's not as pretty as yours though, there's a bathroom there if you want to get changed I'll get changed out here' I said and pointed to my small bathroom, she walked in and I heard it click behind her.

I wore my matching black nike sports bra and leggings, I put my hoodie over the top and my hair up into a tight bun. I slid on my sneakers and waited for Veronica to come out. When she did she was wear pretty much the same as mine but Blue and Adidas. 'Elizabeth. Veronica. Your coach is here' my mum yelled from downstairs. We grabbed our phones and went down and was met face with my coach that had been keeping me fit for around three years. 'Hey Zac, good to see you again. My best friend, Veronica is coming today too' I said and we high fived. 'See you girls later, and Veronica if you want to stay over your more then welcome to' my mum said as she handed us the water bottles. 'Thank you, Alice, bye' V replied and followed Zac to his car, 'bye Mum' I added and closed the door behind me, getting into the car sitting next to Veronica.
