Fresh start

Chapter 2

Betty's POV:

'So how much of a fan are they, do I need to give them an autograph to act normal or something' I giggled. 'To be honest one of them has a poster of you, he's gay and I promise you he will be one of your best friends he's amazing. And the other will act as if he just about knows who you are but will probably start hitting on you since as long as I can remember he's always been like Elizabeth Cooper is fucking hot' she said. 'A poster? What picture' I asked, Veronica pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of the badass character I played in a movie. 'Oh damn, is it bad if I compliment myself saying that my hair was amazing' I laughed. 'Never. Self love bitch' she giggled. 'So where do we eat?' I asked. 'This way' she said as she led me across a grass field towards a wooden table with two benches. Sat there was a ginger haired football player who happens to also be playing guitar and singing, a boy with a beanie eating and another who was listening to the other boy sing. As we walked over no one noticed so I decided to say something 'your an amazing musician, sounded beautiful' smiled putting my tray next to Veronica's. 'oh my fucking god, I'm dreaming, Jughead pinch me. No way has Elizabeth Cooper just sat at the same table as me at my school, I'm Kevin' he squealed. 'Hi I'm Betty' I smiled. 'Wait so your not Elizabeth Cooper but you look exactly like her, by the way I'm archie' the ginger boy said. 'No you dumb ass she is ,I mean she's exactly the same even the eye colour, it's just she's giving herself a nickname instead of her actual name' the beanie boy said to archie. 'And that's Jughead as he obviously isn't introducing himself' Veronica said pointed to beanie boy. He gave a small wave. 'Jug-head?' I questioned. 'Yep jughead I know it's a weird name' he said putting a french fri in his mouth. 'No, just never heard of it' I shrugged. 'No one has' Kevin laughed. 'So not to be rude because I love you but why are you here' Kevin said sipping his drink. 'Oh I moved here and you all are going to have to get use to me because I'm not going anywhere, so I guess we're all friends now' I said. 'Cool, I was wondering where Veronica was last lesson. Honestly thought you were bunking' Archie shrugged.

Lunch was amazing I got along with them all, we all ended up exchanging numbers and seeing who I had class with next.

I walked with Kevin to our next lesson which was science. 'So do people always stare when there's a new kid' I asked looking around. 'No it's because your famous' he said. 'So do we get to choose our lab partners' I asked. 'Yeh, so like do you want to be mine' 'obviously, I don't know anyone else anyway' I smiled.

As we went to go in a girl tapped me on the shoulder. 'Hey?' I said to the little posey of girls, 'can we have a photo?' 'Can I get an autograph?' 'How'd you know Kevin' they all started to ramble at me. 'No sorry come and find me when I'm not at school and I'd be happy to' I smiled and closed the science door once me and Kevin were in. We sat down at a table at the back.

It was nearly the end of lesson, me and Kevin were packing away our equipment. I looked up and a flash went off. Kevin frowned at me confused. 'What was that?' He asked. 'It's called disrespect of privacy. Basically where people take pictures of me without asking' I said loud enough so everyone else could hear.

Last bell

The bell had rang which meant i could finally leave this place, how much I wanted a normal life i do prefer sitting in my pajamas doing work on a computer while at eating a poptart if my mum let me.

'Do you wanna go pops' Veronica asked as she walked up to me. 'What's Pops?' I asked. 'A diner' she replied. 'I totally would but my parents would kill me if I was walking around on my first day here' I frowned. 'Oh yea- I kinda forgot you were famous for a sec' she giggled. 'Sometimes I pretend I'm not but in this case I can't exactly walk around on my first proper day in this town' 'how about Friday. You, me and the boys' she smiled. 'Uuuuuh I can try to convince my dad but if not I'll sneak out' I smirked. 'If you do sneak out ring me and I'll bring a ladder' she laughed. 'See you tomorrow at 8?' She asked. 'On the dot, bye' I said as I walked towards my car. I got in the car and put on my seatbelt, as the driver started the engine. 'Good day miss Cooper?' He asked, 'actually yes, surprisingly' I smiled.

Once we pulled up outside the house I stepped out and looked around. The streets were actually pretty peaceful. I unlocked the door with my keys and stepped in. It looked so homely yet it didn't feel like it. 'I'm back' I said as i took off my shoes. 'Hey honey how was school' my mum said as I walked into the kitchen. 'Good' 'make any friends' 'yeh I made a few. Veronica, Kevin, Jughead and Archie' I smiled. 'Why so many boys? Be careful' 'because they're nice people and weren't asking for pictures or autographs or crap like that' I said rolling my eyes. 'Language Elizabeth' my father said walking in the room. 'Sorry' 'Just be careful okay, you've only known these people for a day' my mum said as I walked upstairs.

When I was in my room I flopped onto my bed and scrolled through my phone. I was checking my social media's and googled myself to see if there was any new news of where I am.
