Betty's POV

I was panicking. Sometimes I'd wish I never became famous, but if I didn't I wouldn't of met the people I know today. I'm grateful to have this lifestyle but sometimes I wish I could have a normal teenage life.

I scrolled down the article rapidly in hope not see a picture, but I did. It's not what you would of expected, it's not me with my hands tangled in Jughead's hair whilst his tongue was down my throat, it was in fact me and Kevin. I had fallen asleep on his shoulder, and then I remember waking up to a flash which must of been this photo being taken. I began to laugh, not nervously, an actual laugh, because they think me and Kevin are dating. I rang Kevin's number immediately still laughing, 'what's up betty' he asked, 'look me up and go onto one of the articles saying about me having a possible new boyfriend, you'll laugh your ass off. Anyway see you tomorrow bye' I said and hung up, I placed my phone back on the side and turnt of my lamp.

The next morning

I woke up extra early so I could try hide the hickeys more so they were unnoticeable, I got changed into a white long sleeve top, blue jeans and my pink leather jacket. I sat at my vanity desk and began applying my everyday natural makeup look, I brushed my teeth, slid on my airforces and left the house without eating.

'Hey Betty' I heard Archie say as I stepped outside and walked down my path, 'Hi, do you want to walk together, I don't want to drive today' I asked turning to him. 'Sure. So how are you?' He said walking next to me on the sidewalk, 'good, I went to the drive in yesterday with Kev. How are you doing?' I respond and looked up form the floor realising we were close to the school. 'Good' he simply said.

As we walked down the path towards the entrance I saw the serpents crowding round near a tree, 'I'll see you later' I smiled before walking towards the crowd, 'hey Toni' I say as she turnt around and saw me, 'what's going on?' I asked. 'Not much, we were just talking about this party the serpents are throwing at the Whyte Wyrm, the serpent bar' she replied and I nodded, she smiled and narrowed her eyes at my neck, squinting, 'what' I laughed. 'Are those hickeys?' She smirks. 'Oh shit. You can see them, I don't know how to cover them up' I laugh. 'So I saw the article with you and Kevin. And since he's gay he didn't give them to you, and you were at the drive-in right?' She asked leaning against the wall, I nodded and then she smirked. 'What' I said slightly confused, 'I know who gave you the hickeys, don't worry I won't tell' she whispered and winked. 'Oh really' I said sarcastically, she nodded. 'Speaking of the devil' Toni said and I turnt my head and saw jughead walking towards us. So she really did know, 'How? How'd you know?' I asked turning back to her slightly confused, 'Well you were at the drive in, Jughead insisted we all go, he was gone for a while, he wasn't actually watching the movie more looking around and he said he was going to get more popcorn when we still had half a bucket left' she told me and I nodded.

'Hey ladies' Jughead smirked walking up to us, 'Hi' I smiled and fiddled with my sleeve, it probably seemed awkward but it wasn't, but now every time I look at him I won't be able to help but blush. 'So anyway Betty, do you want to come to the party this Friday, you can stay round mine after if you want?' Toni asked and I smiled at her, I was really happy me and Toni we're developing this friendship. 'Absolutely' I said and gave her a hug, she laughed and began to walk off, 'I'll see you two love birds around' she smirked and went to speak to the others.

I looked up and Jughead and could see him smirking, 'whatttttt' I laugh. 'I told you that you'd look hot in leather' he said tracing the collar of my jacket. 'I don't know. I think it suits you more then me' I say looking at his black leather jacket that had loads of zips in different places. 'Can I pick you up for the party?' He smiled biting his lip, 'My dads on a work trip for a week and my mum won't mind me going so sure, I'll text you my address on Friday after school' I grinned.

The bell rang and we walked toward our class, English. 'Wait is it just the serpents going or a few other people too?' I asked, 'loads of people, but to fit in wear something black and maybe some leather' he smirked. 'You just want to see me in black and leather don't you' I laugh and he gives me a smirk.

'I'll see you in the blue and gold, bye'  I smile and walked into my class. I saw Kevin and Veronica and took a seat to the left of V. 'So has Archie asked you out yet' I asked looking at Veronica, 'No, but it's 2020 the girl should be able to ask the boy without being judged, it's so stereotypical that the boys should ask the girl but people can judge all they want I don't give two shits' she said and I smiled. Veronica's one of those girls where she will do what she pleases and believes everyone has rights and will fight for that and that's what I love so much about her. 'You go girl, go grab that ginger bull by the horn today and ask him out' Kevin said and we all laughed. 'So are you going to the party on Saturday?' Veronica asked, 'yeh, and then I'm staying at Toni's after, she's actually really nice' I smiled. 'Yeh she's a sweetheart. Do you want a ride, Kevin's taking his truck' Veronica adds, 'I got one' I smirk and exaggeratedly flipped my hair.  'Ooooooooooo. B's got a lover' Kevin teased, 'who's it?' Veronica asked. 'Jughead. And before you say anything he just offered me a ride and if it becomes more I need it to stay a secret' I whisper, 'yeh a ride on him you mean' Veronica giggled, 'shut up' I laughed playfully waking her arm.
