Cometh the Night

How long was I gone? A month or so? Sorry everyone for ghosting this story, but some personal things had come up in my life that needed my full attention. So hopefully I get back into swing of things.

"Are you serious?!" Darla practically screamed at the top of her lungs at the sudden news that Charles has given her and her bedridden companion, Hana. The emerald haired mage never predicted that four students of class A and Daisy traveled through dimensions by the help of two children and possibly Fairy Tail's deceased First Master. As crazy and unbelievable it sounded, Moora isn't one to lie nor make such wild stories.

So hearing this left Darla and dolls scrabbling, leaving Hana to look to the wizard with a dubious frown. It sounded to good to be true, someone able to travel through worlds. "You're certain that they're in Earthland?"

"Yup." Popping his 'p' just as surprised as they if he hadn't been one of the witnesses to such thing. "They're back in Fairy Tail." However, it didn't meant that there wasn't a drawback, not after thirty minutes. They hadn't noticed it at first, the two young Dragneels feeling lethargic with beads of sweat coating their faces, nodding subtly in exhaustion till their cheeks burned red from increase of body heat due to the fever. Inko caught the two before they could hit the ground, which left the poor woman in panic and unsure to what's happening to her granddaughters'. Which caught Toshinori and Ochako's attention of the older woman's worries, hurrying over and rushing the girls to Recovery Girl to look over. Discovering, after dreaded minutes that seemed to drag on, after using their fused powers had drained themselves to the point of falling ill with high fever. It was the only plausible solution to the children having such symptoms. Since the healing heroine memorized Eri's previous hospital record and upon seeing it proved true that the child did, indeed, fell sick under the maximum use of her Rewind quirk.

Now knowing this, the adults and Uraraka could do nothing but wait and hope the children will have a speedy recovery from their fevers. Housing heavy hearts when they mumble through their sickly haze about their parents and begging Izuku to bring back Koyuki from their tyrant of an uncle. Imagine how Inko and Toshinori felt once hearing such mutters from the girls, saddened for them and the fact such man would be so cruel to wish to inflict harm on their own nieces. Even more the fact they believe that's why the girls are becoming desperate and jumped at the chance when Izuku suggested to travel worlds, they must've felt responsible their mother is captured. It seemed Deku isn't the only one who has a heavy heart, but his daughters' too. Hopefully the five find the Dragon Slayer quick, before anything drastic happens.

Shira silently watched the girls fret about the fact the heroes traveled worlds, while she sadly reminiscences of past memories when she was once was a citizen of the Alvarez empire. How she was once an heir to the Winchester family and close to actually becoming a permanent student to one of the twelve Spriggan. It was an incredible honor to be chosen by one due to the fact it's almost impossible by their blatant pride in their own strengths to need a pupil to succeed them, also that some are close to being immortals from lack of aging.

Why need a student?

So, at the time she was still member of the Winchester, decided to rebel and question her country's faith seemed so blasphemes to her parents. It must've embarrassed them to hear their daughter to speak such way and soon to voice it in front of the person who's close to the emperor too. So what did they decide? Disown the unfaithful child, before they shame the family name. Now Shira could only hope none of the Spriggan realize she was here nor find her connection with Kirishima lest they do something to him against her. She knows they'll do something to harm her in some way. That's how her country works: Inflict pain in the body, heart, and soul of your enemies. Never show an ounce of sympathy nor mercy to them unless they surrender their spirits and accept their fates under the empire's will.
