Kara
It didn't feel like Kara had been in her 'chambers' as Lexa called them long, too focused on her hearing. Without the noise in National City, Kara's hearing was even better than it ever had been. She found herself hearing noises for another few miles at least, not quite far enough to hear Arkadia but not far off.
Someone opening the door had her bolting from the bed, "It's time." He didn't give another explanation, didn't wait before turning around, leaving her to follow.
Knowing everything she did today would be watched, Kara followed the guard - she guessed - towards a door Lexa hadn't mentioned earlier. He knocked on the double doors, waiting for an answer before opening the doors. Kara could hear a male voice call them in.
The doors were opened from the inside, revealing so many people sat around the room, but more importantly, revealed Lexa stood in front of a throne almost atop two steps.
Lexa looked so much more intimidating than Kara had seen her in the last few days. Scanning the rest of the room, Kara saw Clarke stood off to one side of Lexa and an old man that looked like he needed a stick removing from somewhere unpleasant.
"Ambassadors, today we are gathered to discuss the treaty with Skaikru and the reports of more invaders on Trikru land." Lexa sat down on the chair behind her the guard leaving Kara to stand in the middle of the room almost.
"What needs discussing? You did not deal with Skaikru as advised and now you ask to discuss another potential invasion, what makes anyone here believe you will head our advise this time?" One of the older men in the room asked. Several others in the room were nodding, some were looking at his questioningly, and one - one was smirking.
"Sangedakru Ambassador need I remind you, leaving Skaikru alive allowed the Mountain to fall." Lexa didn't look happy, if Kara wasn't bullet proof (or sword proof) she would have been scared.
"When you left them there to die." Another voice stepped in before the Sangedakru Ambassador; a man with scars on his face, the one that was smirking.
"I spared the lives of my warriors. That is not weakness, that is strategy. Or are you going to tell me that Azgeda are not at this moment stock piling rations and weapons for a war?" Most of the people in the room looked to Azgeda to deny the accusations, some didn't seem fazed by the news. Kara stood just inside the room as she had been watching the events unfold.
"You show weakness letting Wanheda live. Azgeda would not think twice about her fate if we ruled."
Lexa stood from her throne, Kara didn't like the look on her face. Even if she didn't know what was going on, anyone could see that Lexa was livid, if they looked passed the stoic exterior of course.
"Ambassador, you have some valid reasons for concern, would you like to step onto the balcony so we can talk privately?" Lexa was composed, calm. Kara was worried, given the looks on everyone else's faces in the room.
The Azgeda Ambassador walked ahead of Lexa to the balcony, Lexa a step behind her. As they stepped onto the balcony completely, the curtains moved obscuring some of their actions.
Lexa stopped before the Ambassador, waiting for him to turn around. The smirk on his face one she wished to wipe from his face. She didn't gave him the chance to talk before kicking him in the chest.
Kara watched as Lexa kicked the man from the balcony without hesitation. It took everything in Kara not to fly after the man, no matter how evil, no one deserved to die.
Clarke caught Kara's eye and shook her head so slightly, if Kara didn't know what Clarke was implying she would have thought she imagined it. Kara watched Clarke's lips move and tuned her hearing onto Clarke.
