The following morning, you woke up to the sound of squeals of excitement.
"What's going on?!" Asked a grumpy Tony.
You rubbed your eyes and saw the door open with Phil standing there, a smile on his face and tickets in his hand.
The little ones were dancing all around him, happy as can be, and Steve was doing the "robot" dance that Tony had taught him.
You chuckled and looked at them curiously. "What's with all of the excitement?"
"Go ahead and tell them, Natasha." Phil smiled.
She took a deep breath, then exclaimed, "We're going ta Disweeland!"
"Disneyland?!" You repeated in shock.
"Yep." Coulson confirmed. "I talked to Fury. We figured it was the least we could do, after everything that's happened." He smiled gently.
"What realm is Disneyland from?" Loki asked curiously, still in his footie pajamas, like the others were.
"Anaheim, I think." Thor explained with a shrug of his shoulders.
You chuckled at the slight mistake on Thor's part.
"We've destroyed the enemy facility, so, we shouldn't have any trouble." Coulson explained. "But just in case, I'll have level seven operatives all over, and Ward and May will escort us."
You nodded, and felt pure joy at the thought of taking the tots to Disneyland, even Tony looked a little excited.
"I wanna go to innovations, I hear they've got a real robot there." Tony remarked, and climbed down the ladder from the top bunk to join the rest of you.
"Thanks Coulson." You said greatfully.
"Of course." He smiled.
. . .
"I want to meet a real princess." Natasha said, while she and the others ate their cereal at a round table, now in their regular clothes.
"I want to go on the mountain of space!" Thor bellowed, banging the end of his spoon on the table, and splattering the cereal on Loki's forehead.
The little prince wiped it off casually. "I want to see the fountain show and the fireworks." He said, smiling excitedly.
"And eat all of the carmel apples and ice cream and candy!!" Thor yelled, splatting cereal on Loki's forehead again.
"Oh! Sorry Loki." Thor said, noticing the mess he made.
"It's alright, you were just excited." Loki said gently.
"I wanna go on the train, if that's alright with you ma'am." Steve said politely, then took another bite of his cherrios.
"Of course Steve." You smiled, then looked at Clint. "What are you looking forward to?"
"The shooter games, cuz, you know, I'll win them all." He said with a slight smirk.
Natasha swooned. "Oh Clint, you're so wonderful."
Loki rolled his eyes. "You people are so weird sometimes."
Thor laughed. "You're just as weird as the rest of us brother. Like it or not, you belong here."
Loki smiled ever so slightly. "Well... Maybe I am a little strange... But in a good way!"
"Of course!" Thor yelled, and again splattered cherrios all over Loki's, unamused face.
. . .
"We'll have to be careful." Coulson said, as they packed up the car in the plane's garage. (Which had already landed.)
"We don't want to, um, give away any more information about them than we have to." Coulson continued.
Agent Ward threw a few suitcases in the trunk then closed it.
"I still don't see why we should take this risk. If anyone finds out who they are-" Agent May started to protest.
Coulson smiled slightly. "They're just kids May, they've been through a lot. I'd say they deserve some time just having fun." Phil responded gently.
"You and I both know they aren't *just* kids." May insisted.
"If you want to come, I'm going to need you to be supportive." Coulson said, then got in the front seat of the suv, while you rounded up the kiddies and put them in their carseats.
"This infernal device won't activate!" Loki said with a frusterated grunt, as he fumbled with his carseat safety belt.
"Here, let me help." You said with a smile, while Agent Ward claimed the shotgun seat.
"Just wanted my statement to be on the record. My attitude leaves the moment we leave the plane." May assured, then sat in the seat inbetween Clint and Natasha, while you sat in the middle aisle between Thor and Loki, with Steve, Bruce and Tony sitting in the aisle in front of you.
It was a big car, for sure.
"Everyone buckled up?" Asked Couslon, who then received a positive response, then drove off of the plane ramp and across a grassy pasture to a paved road.
"We are going to Disneyland! I can't believe it!" Steve exclaimed, happily kicking his feet while sitting in his carseat.
You giggled and reached forward to tossel his blonde hair.
. . . One Hour Later . . .
"I'm hungwee!"
"Hey! That's mine!"
"Stop it Tasha! That's my hair!"
"Well you got gum in my hair!"
"Loki! You ruined my snack!"
"It's your own stupid fault!"
"Ma'am, Tony's making fun of me again."
"I am not, baby spangles."
Coulson gripped the steering wheel tightly. "Okay, I need everyone quiet, please."
You sighed, then stated fluidly, "Loki, say you're sorry, Thor, stop throwing things at Loki, here's a new snack. Tony don't make fun of Steve because you're bored, appologize, and here's a rubix cube. Clint, use your words, if you like Natasha, say so, don't stick gum in her hair so she'll pay attention to you. Natasha, use your words and tell Clint you don't like that. Tony, feed this packet of baby food to Bruce, please, thank you."
Suddenly the car was silent, and peaceful.
Coulson looked amazed while he drove. "I don't know how you do it Miss ___." He chuckled.
"Looks like she was the right person for the job." May finally agreed, with a faint smile.
. . . Hours Later. . .
"___! Look! We're in Anaheim!" Thor yelled happily, and raised his hammer up in the air.
"This is the best day in my entire life!" Loki squealed excitedly, and squirmed in his carseat with great anticipation.
"Mickey! Mickey!" Bruce yipped and hugged his tiny teddy bear.
All the kids stared at the big, colorful sign above the parking lot that clearly said, Disneyland.
