"How did you know? Have you met him?" he avoided my question with another question.

"No, Olivia told me!" I lied, of course I would lie, I can't trust anyone when it comes to Alvin, not even my professor.

"Listen, we can't do anything about it, Leyla won't be convinced in any way. She is insisting to give him the serum, she said it's the only thing that can help his condition!" professor explained, "he committed many crimes already, he needs to be stopped!"

I confusedly looked at him, and I realized he knows only about the serum, he doesn't know anything about the 'special room' and Leyla's sexual habits.

"That's not it!" I blurted, "she is lying, she wants to paralyze him for something else!" I raised my voice, I didn't know how to explain everything without crying, and I couldn't let him know about my night visits to Alvin's room. "Something like what?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Nevermind!" I said, "Good night!"

I rushed out of the room, feeling my vision getting blurry. "Nobody is going to believe me or even help me!" I mumbled to myself, tears streamed down as I threw my body on the bed.

It was the moment when I had to figure it all out, I had to fill the empty parts of the puzzle and make a one final decision. A decision that may change my life entirely, from head to toe. Not only my life, but everyone's life.

9:15 AM –

I followed my morning routine as usual and walked out with Olivia and Alexander, the building was quiet and calm since the patients weren't awake yet. Olivia paid us a 'see you later' and walked to her patient, before she disappears completely she gave me one last glance and a simple nod. I knew I could trust her in this.

Alexander and I walked along the corridor, heading to our patients. "How is your patient?" he asked, trying to break the icy cold silence.

"Doing good, I believe!" I simply answered.

My mind was busy processing other things, so I barely heard what he was saying. I'm sorry Alex.

After he paid a 'see you later' as well, I continued walking in the empty corridor alone, my eyes fixed on that one room, the room where everything started and everything will soon end.

I stepped closer to the panel and searched for Alvin inside but to my surprise he wasn't there, he was nowhere to be found. I breathed heavily at the insane collected thoughts in my head and stepped away. what have they done to him? where is he?

I panicked, feeling hurricane of fear hitting my body one time after the other.

I ran to Sophia's room, opening the door with extreme force, "Sophia!!" I desperately called out

She worriedly stared at me, she knew, she was able to read through me. "What happened to him?" she asked.

I sat next to her and narrated what happened last night, she was shocked and concerned, patting my head gently and mumbling words like 'calm down', ' he will be fine'

"Have you searched in the 'special room'?" Sophia asked, I snapped out of my thoughts and slapped myself mentally, of course, I should have searched there.

"There is also another room, the freezer in the third floor, she used to use that room for punishments too!" she informed.

I didn't waste more time and I immediately ran out of the room, the 'special room' was my first destination, and unfortunately, he wasn't there. Nobody was. My chest tightened at the thought of him being in the freezer, if he really is there, then he must be so cold now, what kind of punishment is this!!
