"Why do you want to know?" I finally was able to ask the question that have been stuck on my throat for a while,
"Why are interested in me?"
"Who are you?"
I threw these questions on her as I stood up on my feet, getting closer and closer to her, she took few steps back and I took them forward "what do you want from me?"
Her back hit the wall and she stood there nervously, the moonlight laded on her features, making it easy for me to see her face clearly.
"I just want to help you!" confidently uttered the girl
"Why?" I placed my hands on the wall, blocking her movement, she was now trapped in my arms, not too close but still trapped.
"I don't know!" she wasn't lying about that, I could tell she didn't know why she was doing that, but she needs to figure out. "But I do know that he needs me, whether you like it or not!"
I raised my eyebrows at her words and took a step back, she looked confident and determined about what she was spitting out of her mouth.
"Why would he need you?" I confusingly asked
"To protect him!" her answer was short and confusing "to protect you both!"
"You don't deserve all of this, Alvin, I know you are real too, both of you are real" she whispered, "you are part of him and he is part of you!"
Her words were too genuine and warm, I hated that, nobody ever made me feel real before, I have always been called the alter, the nonexistence thing, the monster and the damaged part in Alvin's brain. I have never felt real until this moment, and it scared me.
"Leave!" I managed to say as soon as my ears caught the click clacks of Leyla's heels coming from the distance.
"She is coming, hide" I again said, I don't know why I said that but I just did. her eyes widened at my sudden words and I immediately walked back to my bed, embarrassed of what I said.
I felt her soft movement in the corner of the room, she walked to the toilet and hid herself as she did before.
The door opened and revealed the Devil's bride, Leyla. Her eyes were filled with joy and lust as she glared at me, walking seductively and smelling like red velvet cupcakes.
"I'm here!" she smirked, I rolled my eyes and tried to avoid her creepy glances at my body, I can never get used to those glances she gives me, it makes me disgust of my skin.
"I heard that you had a bad night" she faked a pout "Stephan was too tough on you, right?"
"Not as tough as I would be on him if I wasn't tied!" I threw the venom on her, her body tensed at my words as she walked closer "I love this side of yours!" she mumbled, her hand landing on my shoulder slowly, I knew she was desperate to touch me but I would never allow her. I twisted her arm and pulled her closer "Don't even dare!" I muttered closer to her ear.
I let go of her and she immediately took a step back, Eyes widened, breaths ragged and harsh. Her hands trembled at her sides. She was afraid and hurt, I liked that, it is so enjoyable to see, unlike the naïve girl who keeps annoying me with her confidence and bravery. Speaking of her, she was hiding on the toilet silently, not making a sound, and I bet she was enjoying the scene.
"You are stopping me from touching you?" she chucked "when I'm the one who knows your body best!"
She caressed her arm lightly as a whimper left her lips, "I know every inch of your body, maybe better than you do" she giggled in victory. I clutched my fist and breathed heavily, trying to calm down the outraged hurricane that was about to form out. But, she was right, she knows it better than I do.
"Tell me, how is he?" she questioned, "did he wake up?"
I parted my lips and was about to speak when my eyes fell on the toilet spot, where that naïve girl was peeking secretly. when our eyes locked, she shook her head 'say no!' she mouthed, I rolled my eyes and looked back at Leyla who was still caressing her arm.
"No!" I shortly answered, why did I even listen to that annoying being.
"That's great!"she nodded in satisfaction, "anyways, let's start!" she winked and I knew what she meant, again, she wanted to paint her dirty skin on me. few minutes later, Stephan and his men walked inside the room, smirking, of course he would be, he could take me down last night.
I rose on my feet before they touch me and walked out with them, following Leyla who was swinging her sides seductively, leaving the men next to me obsessed with her so called 'beauty'.
Before we walk furthermore, I took one last glance at the toilet spot, only to see her staring back at me with saddened eyes. I knew she was worried about him, maybe me. she was genuine but also so naïve, I'm not someone you can help and they are not people you can stand up against.
I looked back at the corridor's floor and headed to 'special room' with them.
Again, for the millionth time, my body will be on her hands, like a puppet, nobody can stop them and nobody can save me, not even you, naïve being...
