The next day, Jin arrived home early in the morning after Jimin dropped him off. He quietly entered the house and made his way upstairs to go to his room, trying his best to keep quiet.

He entered his room but jumped a little when he saw Namjoon was asleep in his bed, hugging one of his pillows. There's was now way Jin was able to feel bad. He was still angry about how Namjoon looked at him like he was someone else and treated him that way at the dance.

Jin sighed and set his bag down and walked over to the bed. He took the pillow out of Namjoon's arms and replaced it with himself. He felt Namjoon shift a little, the older wrapping his arms around him tightly.

Then Jin felt that sense of warmth again. That same sense of warmth he felt inside when Namjoon told him he loved him for the first time but Jin was beginning to think the feelings weren't mutual.

Namjoon woke up and was surprised to see Jin. "J-Jin?" Namjoon whispered. Jin looked up and met eyes with Namjoon. "Baby I'm so sorry, I-" "Leave." Jin said. "What?" Namjoon breathed out. "Leave. And don't talk to me until you're ready to be open about our relationship and drop your fake friends." Jin said.

"Jin I'm sorry..." Namjoon breathed out. "I know you are. You should be sorry for yourself because this is your fault." Jin said. Namjoon looked as if he was about to cry, which made Jin hurt even more.

"Okay." Namjoon said. He leaned forward to kiss Jin, but Jin stopped him. Both of them felt their hearts breaking even more. Namjoon got up and left.

Jin sighed and just laid there, to upset to even move. There was a knock in the door. "Go away." Jin said. In walked his mother. She sat in the edge of his bed and sighed. "What did you two argue about? It seems serious. Namjoon came home very upset last night. I don't know if he's want me to say this but, he was crying." She said.

"It's nothing. I don't wanna talk about it." Jin said. "Well, you two need to work things out. He's your brother now and he genuinely seems to enjoy your company." She said. "I know." Jin mumbled.

She got up and left his room. Jin sat up and noticed a note on his nightstand. Another stupid apology that wasn't going to change anything.

Namjoon's phone buzzed. He quickly picked it up, hope in his mind that Jin would forgive him.

Jin: I wanna break up.

Namjoon's stomach dropped.

Namjoon: What?
Jin: I wanna break up with you.
Namjoon: Jin, you're taking this too far...
Jin: I'm breaking up with you. I'm sorry.

Namjoon sat on his bed, unable to keep the tears in.

....

That Monday, a lot of people gossiped about the two but it died down once they saw that Jin and Namjoon wouldn't even look at each other.

Jin met Jimin in the library, Jin bursting into to tears as he told Jimin about what happened. "Why would you break up with him? You two loved each other, right?" Jimin asked.

"Jimin, if Namjoon l-loved me, h-he would've don't t-that to me." Jin cried. "I'm sure he didn't mean it." Jimin tried but Jin shook his head. Jin eventually calmed down.

In chemistry that day, Jin had no choice but to sit next to Namjoon because that was their assigned seat for the year. Jin sat down quietly, wiping stray tears away as Namjoon looked at him worriedly.

"Jin?" He whispered but Jin ignored him. "Please don't cry, I'm so sorry." Namjoon said. "Stop." Jin said. Namjoon sighed and paid attention to the lesson as Jin silently cried, keep his head down so nobody noticed.
