Twenty

The two entered the mall, which was having New Years sales on every store. That's why they decided to go today. They entered a clothing store that Jimin liked, Jin bored as he looked at all the pastel clothes.

"Yoongi's been gone all winter break, I miss him." Jimin pouted as he picked out some clothes. "Aww, that sucks." Jin said. "He's visiting family in Daegu." Jimin said. "Isn't that where he used to live?" Jin asked. "Yeah." Jimin said.

They exited the store after Jimin bought the stuff, the two entering a store Jin liked to shop in. As he was looking around for clothes, he got a text from Namjoon.

Joon: I miss you baby☹️

Jin smiled and showed Jimin. "He loves me that much." Jin giggled and Jimin smiled. "That's so cute." He said. "I know." Jin said.

Jin: Babe I haven't even been gone for an hour.
Namjoon: It's been exactly an hour.
Jin: Aww, you miss me that much?
Namjoon: Yes😔
Jin: I'll be home in a few.
Namjoon: Okay.
Jin: We can't ditch mom and dad's party and cuddle in your room.
Namjoon: Really🥺
Jin: Yes🥰
Namjoon: Okay, Ill see you soon❤️

"Namjoon is so clingy, I could never if Yoongi was that clingy." Jimin shuddered. "I think it's cute." Jin said.

After a few hours of shopping, they stopped in the food court and got some lunch from the smoothie shop. When they were done eating, they conversation for a while until Jin spotted a store that for sure sold test.

"I'll be back." Jin said and set his stuff down. "Okay." Jimin said and Jin left to the store.

He entered and walked down an aisle, picking up a pregnancy test. He brought it at self-checkout, not in the mood to be judged by the lady who looked like a Karen working the front desk.

He exited the store and sat back at the table with Jimin. "I'll take the test tomorrow. I can't do it tonight." Jin said and Jimin hummed.

They left the mall and Jin was dropped back at his house. He went inside where his mother told Jin he had to get ready for the party. "Do I have to?" Jin asked and his mother nodded.

Jin wore semi-formal clothes, meeting Namjoon in the formal living room. "This is dumb. I wanted to cuddle." Namjoon crossed his arms and Jin giggled. "I know." He said. "We can after though." He said.

"How was shopping?" He asked. "Good. There was a lot of good sales happening." Jin said and grabbed a dessert from the table. "That's cool." Namjoon said.

After a while of meeting their parents annoying rich co-workers, the two went upstairs and on the balcony. Jin stood by the railing and sighed, looking at the city lights in the near distance. They loved pretty close to downtown Seoul so he could see the neon lights shining and the tall buildings. Especially since they lived up on a hill.

After a few minutes, fireworks began going off in the distance, Jin spotting them. "I guess it's midnight now." Jin said and Namjoon checked his phone. "Yeah, it is." He said and walked over to Jin.

"Come on, we gotta have our New Years kiss." Namjoon said. "That's so dumb, and cliché." Jin giggled. Namjoon wrapped his arms around Jin's waist and smiled. "But it's cute." Jin said, wrapping his arms around Namjoon's neck.

Namjoon pressed their lips together in a sweet kiss. He pulled away and smiled to himself, Jin kissing his cheek. "I love you, no matter what, okay?" Namjoon said sincerely. "I love you too." Jin said.

Later that night, the two went to sleep, Jin nervous to take the test.

The next day around noon, Jin got the courage to take it. He'd been in his room by himself all day doing homework when he decided to do it.

He entered his bathroom and shut the door, taking the test. He set it in the counter and waited. Those five minutes felt like five years. He hated that he was being out in this situation but it was only his fault.

The tested beeped, sending chills through Jin. He couldn't look, his conscience wouldn't let him. Hesitantly, he closed his eyes as he picked up the test.

He opened them, immediately tearing up.

Positive.

"Oh my god..." He breathed out. He felt his life slowly crumbling into pieces as he sat against the wall and began crying. That's all he felt he could do. He had no choice but to tell Namjoon and then he had to tell their parents that he was pregnant and in a relationship with Namjoon and Namjoon got him pregnant.

Namjoon entered Jin's room and heard crying from the bathroom. He walked over and knocked on the door. "Baby, you okay?" Namjoon asked, only making Jin cry harder as he hid the test in his lap.

Namjoon entered and knelt down beside Jin. "What's the matter baby? Why are you crying so hard?" Namjoon caressed his face and tried to wiped away the oncoming tears.

"Tell me, babe. I'm here for you, you know." He said. Jin looked into his eyes and shook his head. "A-At the party, w-when we had s-sex, we d-didn't use protection." Jin cried. Namjoon gave him a confused look. "Oh my god..." Jin breathed out and rolled his eyes.

"Namjoon, I'm p-pregnant." Jin said and cried harder. Namjoon just hugged him. That's all he felt he could do. He knew this was partly his fault as well. They shouldn't have gotten drunk that night or else they wouldn't have forgotten to use a condom.

"Shhh, it's gonna be okay, baby. I'm gonna be here for you. I promise." Namjoon whispered softly and kissed his forehead. "Y-You're not m-mad? You're n-not gonna break up w-with me?" Jin asked. "No, of course not, baby. I love you too much to just let go of you like that." Namjoon said and that hit Jin hard.

They stayed like that, hugging each other until Jin could regain composure to speak clearly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry..." Jin breathed out. "Don't be." Namjoon said.

"How are we gonna tell mom and dad?" Jin asked. "Shit, I don't know. I'll figure it out, I promise." Namjoon said. "Namjoon?" Jin whispered after a minute or two. "Yes?" Namjoon said. "C-Can we take a break. Just for a little bit. I need time to think about things." Jin said.

"Baby..." Namjoon said. "Only for a few days. I just need time." Jin said. "If it'll make you feel better." Namjoon said and Jin thanked him.

Jin ended up staying at Jimin's house. "Jin are you pregnant?" Jimin asked as soon as they entered his bedroom and Jin nodded, breaking into tears again. "Oh shit, don't cry, don't cry." Jimin hugged him tightly.

"I'm so screwed. Our parents are gonna hate us." Jin said. "No they won't." Jimin said. "You don't know that." Jin said.

"What did Namjoon do?" Jimin asked. "He still loves as much as he did before, like what the hell?! I thought he was gonna hate me, but he doesn't." Jin cried. "Awww, he's a keeper. For sure. All that matters is that Namjoon still loves you." Jimin said and Jin hummed.

That night, Namjoon sat at the dinner table, his parents questioning him about Jin. "He's at Jimin's place. He's staying there for a few days I guess." Namjoon said.

"You two fight again?" His mother asked. "No." Namjoon said, pushing his food around his plate. He had to tell him. It was either now or never. "Oh okay." She said and continued talking to his father.

Namjoon was silent for a few minutes until he spoke up. "I got Jin pregnant." He said all of a sudden. Jin's mother chocked on her food a little and his father spit out his water.
