The next day Jin had lost a little hope. He was together with Namjoon again, yes, but it just didn't feel right. Like, what if Namjoon didn't actually care about him and would go back to trying to keep their relationship as secret.
Jin laid there in bed beside him. "What's on your mind, baby?" He asked. "Nothing. I don't wanna go to school." Jin said. Namjoon chuckled softly. Jin turned to face him and Namjoon smiled.
He leaned in and kissed him briefly before pulling away. "Let's get ready, okay?" Namjoon said and Jin nodded.
Jin sat at the kitchen counter eating breakfast quietly after they got ready for school. "You two finally make up? Glad to see you guys talking to each other again." Jin's mother said. "Yeah, we're cool now." Namjoon said.
After breakfast, the two left for school. Jin became more and more nervous, preparing himself to be heartbroken yet again once they got to school.
Namjoon parked in their usual spot. "You alright?" Namjoon asked and Jin nodded. Namjoon kissed Jin's cheek and smiled. "Come on, lets go." Namjoon said.
They entered the school and Jin went to his locker. As he was putting some things inside, Jimin came up beside him. "You two back together now?" He asked and Jin nodded. "He said he'd be more affectionate towards me at school, but I kinda don't believe him." Jin said sadly.
"You never know." Jimin shrugged. Yoongi came up to Jimin and grabbed his hand. "See you in class!" Jimin called as he walked away with Yoongi. Jin sighed and placed his lunch bag in the shelf.
He felt someone's arms wrap around his waist from behind. He knew those warm, strong arms only belonged to Namjoon. A smiled grew across Jin's lips. "Hey." He whispered in his ear. He pressed a gentle kiss on Jin's neck.
Jin closed his locker and turned around to face Namjoon. "Aren't you worried about people seeing us?" Jin asked. Namjoon looked taken aback. "I don't care who's looking, Jin. You're mine now, and they get to know that." Namjoon said before connecting their lips, pressing Jin against the locker.
Jin heard people's reactions and wanted to laugh. He seriously didn't think Namjoon would go by what he said, but he did. They kissed until a teacher yelled at them nearby about PDA.
Jin giggled and pecked his lips. Namjoon held Jin's hand as they walked to class. Jin stopped outside of their classroom door. "What's wrong?" Namjoon asked. "I'm just nervous." Jin shuddered.
"Don't be. Everyone knows you're mine now. They won't mess with you." Namjoon said as he let go of Jin's hand and wrapped an arms around his waist as they walked into class. Sure they got stares and whispers from the students who loved gossip but soon enough, they all just got used to it.
Jin felt conflicted about his feelings. He was happy Namjoon had finally came through with his promise, but for some reason, things didn't feel right.
"Hey, do you wanna throw a party for your birthday?" Namjoon asked as they headed to lunch that day. "That's a month away, Namjoon." Jin laughed a little. "Doesn't hurt to plan ahead." Namjoon shrugged.
"I mean, a part would be nice, but who's gonna show up?" Jin asked. "A lot of people will. Trust me. I didn't lose all my friends now." Namjoon said as they approached the table.
The two sat down. Namjoon wrapped and arms around Jin's soft and leaned in, kissing his cheek. Jin blushed madly because he still wasn't used to Namjoon being touchy with him in front of everyone.
Jimin squealed. "Are you two back together now? Are you don't acting like children?" Jimin asked and Jin nodded. "Finally." Jungkook laughed.
"You guys wanna come to his birthday party?" Namjoon asked. "That's a month away!" Jin said. "Oh really, when's your birthday?" Taehyung asked. "December fourth." Jin said.
