The King of Arcadia

Chapter 9: Elisha

The sun beams through the grey clouds in the early morning sky. Elisha, the castles stable cleaner rolls over to the edge of the bed. She ruffles her dust colored hair into a decent looking style and stands up brushing the sheets away.

She scours the room for her garments. She glances at herself in the mirror a red bruise wraps around her neck. She licks her lips at the thought of his hands around her throat. She finds her under garments and begins to dress near the golden colored trunk at the foot of the bed.

Curiosity eats at her of what could be inside. She kneels down and cracks the trunk open her eyes widen at the sight of jewels, gold pieces and money. She pulls a few of the gold pieces out the trunk and slip them into her purse on the floor too. She quietly closes the trunk back and begins to search for her dress .

Its on his side of the bed she tip toes over there and reaches for the dress. He grabs her arm before she could reach it and pulls her into the bed on top of him. "I want some more before you go attend to your duties". His grip stronger than the giants in Mount Arcadia . She winces from the pain but cracks a devilish smile. "Your highness I have to leave , I have to tend to the cattle and horses".

He slaps her, she grabs her cheek the red color building already.  "I am the king and you will do what I say." "Especially if you want to be considered for becoming the queen this weekend." She shuts her eyes, wondering if he knows she took the gold. "Do you love the king?" He asks her in a juvenile tone. "Yes Gabriel I love you" . She says with out a bit of honesty in her voice.

He grabs her throat and pulls her close to him , the grip he has on her breast could easily cause her light colored skin to bruise up , but she slaps the king back fire covers his eyes and he flips her over onto her stomach. "Now let me show you what I want from you before you go" he says in a prideful voice. He gets his way and when he is done he cleans himself with her dress.

Disgust flies to her face. "Why would you do that?" She says out of breath from their activities. "Because I want you to wear this from now on." He opens a box on his side table, a beautiful green dress with silver pearls lining the neck appears from the box. A greedy smile rises on her face. "Oh thank you my king". He smiles, "call me Gabriel". "You will be my wife soon."

The greed reaches her eyes as she puts the beautiful dress on . It hugs her curves perfectly which widens Gabriels eyes further. "We might have to give you the day off" he laughs. Her smile softens to that of almost shyness. "Very funny I will see you tonight king.. I mean Gabriel." He reaches in his chest and pulls a few gold pieces out , "here Elisha , hold this for yourself". "Thank you", she says sweetly and the greed returns to her cold smile.

She leaves the room and one of the guards hurry in, Gabriel zips his pants. "What is it Micah? He is Gabriels most trusted guard and friends. "A demon has been spotted near the edge of Arcadia. By the forest opening." "Well send two guards to go investigate and report back to me at once." "Okay your Majesty." Micah says in a serious tone, "and by the way you may want to wash all those scratches wouldn't want an infection" Micah laughs and Gabriel rolls his eyes.

"Will you be my best man?" "So your going to marry the greedy winch?" "Watch your mouth" Gabriel says in a raised tone of voice. "She loves me and I am going to marry her." He says in a doubtful voice. "I think you should  maybe talk to Ezra, she really fancies you, not your money like Elisha". Micah says hollowly . "No Ezra is not even godly enough to shine my shoes. Have you seen Elishas body?" Gabriel says arrogantly.

Micah shakes his head in distain. "Ill see you later, sir, we gonna get started on that task. So will you? Gabriel asks again. "Sure your majesty anything for you brother." Micah smiles and exits the room. Gabriel laughs at all the scratches on his body. Then heads in the bathroom to shower.
