I can hear them chanting in the distance "kill the prince!" "Kill the prince!" Eden thinks to her self while hurrying through the tunnel with abaddon. "She hasnt looked at me since Risha said I was a king". Abaddon stops in his tracks, "Eden you have to look at me", "I cant Donn..I mean King Abaddon." "Dont call me that we have been bestfriends for years and I dont want you to treat me any differently." He says to her seriously.
She lowers her eyes further. " I know we can never be friends once you take your place as king. We have to go they are coming for us." She starts walking ahead of Abaddon. He stares at her for a moment and then continues on behind her, as much as he hates what she said part of it is true a king can only speak to women of high authority , their servants or the woman they are betrothed to.
He shakes off the thought of marrying anyone other than her. "Sure shes my bestfriend but who better to marry than her, shes amazing." The thought lingers in his head, the devilish smirk reappears. He hurries behind her and turns her around , "Donny what are you doing?" He raises her chin so her eyes meet his. Her eyes shined with innocence, the golden hue gleamed in the small lights within the tunnel.
A sorry look reads upon her face he runs his thumb over her cheek. "You are my bestfriend and I don't wanna be king without you next to me!" He says with a softness she's never heard from him before. His eyes gleamed of pride , he meant what he was saying. She relaxed her face "do you mean that Donny?" He pulls her closer the warmth of her body a furnace to his cold heart.
"Ive never meant anything more than I mean this. I dont know what im feeling for you Eden. But I know I don't want it to go away." He says with a passion burning hotter than a wild fire. The love in those word slip off the tip of his tongue like a midsummers rain shower, they hit her like rain drops on a tin roof. She pulls him closer into a warm embrace he lifts her face higher his lips inching towards hers. She closes her eyes , "is this real life" she thinks to herself. . . . .
