Chapter 7.
"Did you find him?" King Gabriel inquires Strongly to his guards. "Your greatness he has killed several of our men, but we manage to kill one of his wenches." The guard says shakily. "Let me see her". The king shouts. Two of the guards carry Eden's body into the room and lay in the floor.
The shock of seeing Eden's body snaps the king into shape. "This is not his playmate this is the healers daughter". The king shouts angrily. "All of the guards involved in her slaughter will be disbanded and given peasant status" . The king continues. "Now everyone leave me to dispose of the body". Just then Risha runs in. "No not my daughter,not my baby". She cries as she falls to the floor over Edens body.
She whimpers "how could you kill her" at Gabriel and proceeds to slap the King . He growls "guards take her to the dungeon!" Two guards carry Risha away as she yells and kicks about how he will pay for her daughters death. The rest of the guards file out of the room and Gabriel kneels down beside Eden's body.
He cant deny the feelings he too has for Eden. "She always hung out with my filthy brother, but I know deep down she loved me". Saddened by her death he carries her body to the edge of the forest and lays her in a bed of white and yellow wild flowers . He kisses her forehead tears well up in his eyes but he fights them back. "first father now Eden. I will have his head on my fire place for this just wait."
Gabriel stands up and heads back to the castle away from Eden's body. He doesn't even notice the flowers shifting places. The Earth knows a healers blood has been shed . It will consume her body and heal her. Only a true royal family member can kill a healer but this is knowledge unknown to most royals for the good of the healers.
The flowers over come Eden's body. Growing higher and higher until you could no longer tell that she was there. The wind blows a cool breeze. Vines emerge from beyond the trees and wrap themselves around Eden's flower covered body they pull her off into the darkness of the trees , further and further out of sight where no one would be able to see her, until her body lay basically invisible deep inside the forest.
