Chapter 11: The wedding

The wedding preparations begin. Huge pillars line up in the throne room of the palace. They hold beautiful yellow and white wild daisy bunches in place with decorative ribbon connecting each pillar. The grey color of the floor runner is complimented by blue hues outlining the floor . White rose petals cover the floor leading up to the alter, the servants set up the chairs. They hung lights from the pillars.

Up in the brides room Dawn stares in the mirror, the handmaid managed to unmat Dawns hair and soften it into a beautiful style of deep waves, her make up suited her face perfectly and that long white gown completely transformed her into almost an angel. She looked truly beautiful. She smiled at the reflexion that stared back at her. "Its almost time." Jewel the hand maid informed Dawn. Her hands trembled, she was so nervous to marry Abaddon. She knew he wasnt that fond of her but she was hoping he would think she was really beautiful this evening.

A few halls down Abaddon was freaking out. "King you need to calm down." Solomon says cautiously. "I cant Solomon, that has to be Eden down there." "Don, Eden died four years ago in your arms in the tunnels under Arcadia. Its no way that can be her. Eden hair is dark , and she has olive skin. But she has a scar right where Eden was stabbed. She is the same height as Eden , her voice is just as delicate as Edens." The king says with hope in his voice.

"Sir with all due respect I think you need to focus on your wedding you are marrying Dawn in 35 minutes." Solomon says. "Oh man , I don't think I can marry her Sol, I just cant." "Don you gotta, its the rules and you signed the order of agreeance. Your blood bound to marry her already and if you don't there will be bad consequences." Abaddon frowns. "I signed that when I was 18 I didn't know what I was doing." "Its too late." Solomon says in a sad but serious tone of voice. Abaddon breathes a long sigh. "Tell the Priestess and the Healer I'm ready." "Okay your highness."

The bells begin to ring as the guests file into the throne room and take their seats. The high priestess and the healer stand strongly at the front and center of the throne room. The high priestess wears a huge crown with a stone cross on the front. She is very old , her hair grayer than a storm cloud, shes one of the Demon elders. She is very wise and knowledgeable. The healer is a woman maybe in her 50s. She's a different kind of demon, her skin has a blueish hue to it her hair is jet black and her eyes are such a light blue they almost look like ice crystals.

Shes a strong healer. And actually the sister of Edens father, hes the healer back in Arcadia. He refused to come here after Eden died and Risha got thrown in the dungeon. The guests take their seats and Solomon walks in . In his Asgard Military Attire. He takes his place to the left of the healer and then Abaddon takes a deep breath and walks out in his Kings Asgard Military Forces Uniform and his Silver Crown thats lined with 4 red Rubies to represent how many years ago his parents died.

The orchestra begins playing a soft ballad and the doors open. "Deep breath Dawn" she says under her breath. She walks slowly down the aisle toward Abaddon, he looks up and freezes , "is that really her? She's beautiful." He closes his eyes and flashes of Eden walking down the aisle towards him. He shakes the thought out his head he stares at Dawn "she looks sweet for once and not mean." His hearts drops . She reaches the alter and he grabs her hand .

The ceremony begins and the high priestess commences the wedding vows "Do you , King Abaddon the first take Lady Dawn Stone to be your wife in the eyes of god himself?" "I , I , I" Abaddon stutters as a late guests arrival interrupts the ceremony. "Its her, from the infirmary. But she looks different, she looks like her. Her beautiful chocolate brown curls fall softly against her neck its alot shorter than I remember" Abaddon thinks to himself. "Her sunshine eyes gleam with the light of a star in the night sky." She sits in the back row on the right side and Abaddon cant take his eyes off her. This catches Dawns attention and she frowns then says "ehem"

The high priestess continues "King abaddon the first do you take Lady dawn stone to be your wife in the eyes of god?" He snaps his head back to Dawn and she smiles a hopeful smile at him. "I do" he says shakily. "And do you Lady Dawn Stone take King Abaddon the first to be your husband in the eyes of god?" "I do" she says quickly. "Okay now will you two hold your hands out in front of this chalice." They hold their hands out and the healer slices them open and collects the blood in the chalice. "Okay now you to must drink a sip of the intertwined blood and you two will be linked and binded by the magic legally in marriage."

They both take a sip and then everyone begins to cheer as Abaddon leans in to kiss Dawn for the first time. The ceremony ends and the reception begins. While everyone is dancing he spots her standing alone outside the reception hall by the great fountains. He walks over to her silently. "Its so nice to see your happy" Eden says to Abaddon with a saddened smile.

She looks at him, he stares at her his cold heart warming with every beat. "Your married now" she says with a tear welling up in her eye. "That doesnt matter" he says in a stone cold voice. He grabs her arm and pulls her in for a hug. "Ive been so lost without you Eden." She doesnt hug him back, "Donny I'm sorry I wasnt here for u, I wish I could've been, I've been through so much I wish I could tell you about but I cant because your married. I hope she makes u happy." Eden pulls a half smile on her face. Abaddon pulls Edens face up close to his "I've been waiting 21 years to do this" , the tear finally falls from Edens eye and Abaddon kisses her lips, every ounce of passion he has burning inside of him comes through that kiss and it fills Eden with a fire that burns through her whole body, electricity ignites around their bodies. His golden light and her blue healers glow wrap around each other like a snake constricting its prey.

Dawn clenches a fist as she watches them make out from behind a pillar. She runs into the kingdom and into the mines where her family is. They were not allowed to attend the wedding because the miners are the lowest level of peasant. She finds her mom and drops to her knees in tears. Her mom holds her, she consoles her. "We are going to get our revenge once you are queen Dawn, and then we will have the last laugh."
