I landed in Miami finally. I ubered to my apartment complex, to sign the lease and unpack and stuff. I texted Liangelo since I told him I would.
Christina Diaz: hey, I landed. I'm at my apartment now.
Liangelo Ball: Okay. Have a good day. Let's FaceTime tonight.
Christina Diaz: Yeah sure. Have a good day too.
I can see he's trying. It's nice but I don't know. I decided to put on a swim suit and go to the community pool since it was super nice out and stuff. Lunay was going to meet me there since he had like an hour to spare.
I got there and he was already there.
"Hey" I said and put my stuff down
"Hey Christina" he said "how was your flight"
"Long and boring" I said taking my cover up off
He chuckled "are you coming with me tonight, I have a club appearance"
"I have to be up early" I said
He nodded
I remembered Liangelo wanted to FaceTime tonight. I actually did really want to talk to him.. maybe I'll pass on the club. I'll stay in.

After the pool i headed back to my apartment. I ran some errands like grocery shopping and some last minute things I needed to get. It was around 8 pm when I finished. I showered and put on a white oversized T-shirt. I laid in my bed and put some keeping up with the kardashians on.
Within a few minutes Liangelo called me on FaceTime.
"hey" he said. He was laying down on his bed. Shirtless. He looked so good.
"Hey what're you doing" I asked and smiled slightly
"watching espn, how are you, what'd you do today" he asked and looked at me through the camera
"I'm okay. I just ran errands and went grocery shopping. I went to the pool and got a little tan" I said
"you did all that by yourself" he asked
"Yeah most of it" I said
"Most of it" he asked
I nodded
"whats that mean" he asked
"I was at the pool with Lunay" I said
he nodded and looked at the TV "oh yeah your boyfriend"
"He's not my boyfriend." I said
"But you spend so much time with that dude" he said
"I do but because he's my friend. I'm not even gonna sit here and lie to you, he likes me, but I'm not looking for that right now" I said
"when are you coming back" he asked
"In a couple weeks" I said
"Zo's going down there with Zoey and Denise in a couple days I think" he said
"aw really oh my gosh. I have to hang out with Denise and baby zoey." I said
He smiled.
"Come with them" I said
"I can't they staying in Zo's and Dmo's Miami apartment. I don't stay there when Denise and zoey go there's no space" he said
"come with them, and stay here with me" I said
He looked at me "forreal" he asked
I nodded "we can go to the beach and to Disney world" I said
"Im definitely going now" he said
"really, you don't have basketball or nothing" I asked
"Not really, I mean I had some workouts and stuff with a trainer but I'm gonna reschedule them" he said
"How long are they staying for" I asked
"I think a week" he said
"that's good because I leave in a week so you can stay here that whole week" I said
He nodded and smiled.
"so what happened? Why'd you move back in the first house? What happened to your apartment" I asked
"I just didn't need to be there anymore to be honest. I'm working towards something different to get back into the league. I was in a bad place you out everyone knows that. I just need an environment I was used to and comfortable in" he said
I nodded "yeah for sure. I mean it's at your own pace and your own time and do what's best for you." I said "can I ask you something"
He nodded
"How come you always run back to Jaden when you and I aren't okay" I asked
He sighed "to be honest christina it's because she's always there. I needed my girlfriend sometimes and when you weren't there for me she always was. I never fucked her again ever since her and I were dating, I haven't done anything with her." He said
shitty response.
"oh okay" I said and shrugged "where's Melo" I asked
"He's probably in his room playing 2k or something" he said
I nodded.
"I miss you Christina" he said
"I miss you too Liangelo" I said and smiled slightly
"What are you doing tomorrow" he asked
"I have meetings all morning, and then later I'm going shopping for this gender reveal party that's on the night you come actually. Do you wanna come with me?" I asked
He nodded "of course. What friend is it" he asked
"My friend bri, she's an influencer." I said "im gonna get you a cute outfit to wear then"
He chucked "okay then"
We talked for a few more minutes and then we both decided to end the call and get ready to sleep.
