"these invitations are so cute" Karla says while putting them in an envelope
"I know right, and so like old school actually mailing these out" I say
She nods

Karla and KB are throwing me a birthday bash. It's not a surprise, I know about it but it's still very nice of them.

"so how are you and LiAngelo?" Karla asks
I shrug "good, just co parenting"
"do you miss him?" She asks
I look down and play with envelope
"Yeah" I say quietly "but I can't because he's not the guy for me"
"how do you know that" she asks "I can't even lie he's hurt you so so much, but I honestly think he's acting right this time"
I nod "I'm just scared"
she nods "and it's okay to be"
I nod and smile slightly
"What's good yall" Zo says and comes in with LiAngelo
I look behind me and see he came with Zo, and Melo
"Hey" Gelo says and hugs me
"Hey G" I say and smile slightly
Karla looks at me
"Where's Sophia" he asks
"Upstairs napping" I say and point at the baby monitor camera
He nods and goes up the stairs
"who coming to the party?" Lonzo asks
"everybody" I say
"Of forreal? So like everybody everybody, so I can bring my friends" he asks
I nod and smile
"Yesssirrrr" he yells
"are you fucking kidding me bro, my daughter is sleeping" Gelo says coming down the stairs
"Oh shit my bad homie" zo says
"Christina can you make me a sandwich" melo asks
"sure" I say and walk to the kitchen
"I'm gonna head out babe, KB just texted me" Karla says
I nod and hug her
"Bye boys" she says and waves As she walks to the garage

I start making the sandwiches as the boys grab the controllers and start to play 2k. I finish the sandwiches then set them on the coffee table for them. I hear Sophia crying so I go upstairs to get her.

"look who came to visit you baby" I say
"princess" melo squeals
I laugh
Gelo grabs her and lays down with her, I hand him her bottle
I sit on the breakfast table just scrolling through insta. I see Gelo posted a picture.

Gelo sighs and walks upstairs with Sophia
"Why do you guys make it worse" I ask melo and zo
"you don't think that's foul" Zo asks
I sigh and walk upstairs to Gelo laying down with Sophia
I sit next to him

"Just let it go G, I don't even know who that is" I say
"I know Christina" he says "I'm fine"
"so who's Kassandra" I ask
He chuckles "are you jealous"
"No, just asking" I say
"she's not important. I haven't talked to her in like months. Wanna check" he says and hands me his phone
"No" I say and hand it back
"I love you, you know that right" he says
"I know" I say and smile

I lay down next to him and Sophia. Eventually, her and I fall asleep.

I wake up and see LiAngelo isn't there anymore. He probably left with his brothers. I grab my phone, it's already 7pm. I play with sophia's hair a little bit, while using my phone. This birthday bash is supposed to be very big. I'm turning 21 so Karla wants to go all out. She invited everybody, who's anybody, so I'm really excited. I hear footsteps downstairs. What the fuck, who's here. I quietly walk downstairs.

"hey" Gelo says
"You scared me" I say
He smiles "you fell asleep so I went to get food, I knew you were gonna wake up hungry"
I smiled "thank you"
He nods
"do you have workouts tonight?" I ask
He shakes his head "not today"
"mm wanna stay?" I ask shyly
"really?" He asks
I nod "kinda scared I don't know why"
"of course I can stay" he says
