EVA LOKISON WAS BAIT, AND SHE DIDN'T LIKE THAT FEELING VERY MUCH.

Because she wasn't big on traitors, but Oliver Bastino totally threw her under the bus with the whole SHIELD/HYDRA thing and didn't even attempt to get Eva back after she totally took the fall for him in the warehouse.

So Eva would be a traitor, and honestly, it just felt like revenge.

(And revenge felt really good.)

She was at a coffee shop next to what she had come to know as Oliver's apartment building.

And in her ear, there was a small skin-tone BlueTooth piece, and from it, Eva was being fed conversations from the avengers involved in the extraction.

Eva has been to a debriefing the morning earlier - yes, a debriefing.

If she made it out of this whole thing alive, Eva was totally selling Avengers secrets - like the fact that Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye) always tried to trip Vision (aka red dude with gem) whenever possible.

And the fact that if you're trying to sneak into a meeting, it does not work - baby spider boy was a prime example of that, Eva could hear Tony Stark scolding him out in the hallway.

This only helped her ego swell some more - she was special enough to be a part of a mission he wasn't? Eva was totally gonna use that in the future.

So fast forward through the protocol (boring) and the rules (boring) and the game plan - also boring because none of it involved Eva Lokison beating up Oliver Bastino to the best of her abilities.

Worse, Tony actually spoke against that - he wanted Bastino in mint condition.

But since Eva was the one coffee shop with eyes on Oliver and his ugly ass new hair cut, she got to make the decisions here.

"I've got eyes," Eva said under her breath, not because she wanted to follow the rules or anything, but because she at least owed Natasha compliancy for everything she'd done for her.

(Also because it felt really cool to say.)

She owed Tony Stark nothing, so she said nothing when he called through the communications, "Can you get him?"

Knowing that like seven pairs of eyes were on her, Eva smirked as she took a sip of coffee from the cup in front of her.

"Eva," Natasha warned through the phone.

"He's not afraid to cause a scene," Eva explained, remembering all the times Oliver Bastino had gotten into fights with people at parties or joint jobs.

"Follow him," Natasha directed.

Eva almost nodded, but when her eyes flickered back to attention, where Oliver was slipping out of the shop.
