LOKI HAD MADE AN ENEMY, AND EVA WAS A FORMIDABLE OPPONENT.
Loki had never met someone so willing to go out of their way to aggravate another person, but Eva had succeeded in taking that title for herself, within the next day.
It wasn't as if Loki didn't expect his daughter to be upset with him; Eva Lokidittor was no stranger to silent treatments after scoldings, but this was much more anger than he could have imagined.
Eva wouldn't speak to him.
But not only would she refuse to speak with him, but she would also refuse to take lessons with him, and then refuse to be in the same room as him.
Eva had never been close to Frigga, not even at a young age, but that night in the bunker must have changed something, because Eva had a newfound trust in Frigga - it was if they both wanted the same thing.
What that thing was, Loki had no idea, but he was well aware of it's unifying force.
She took lessons with her, every day. Frigga took over her magic lessons - the only thing Loki seemed to have - and then from there it became history and culture, and memories; suddenly, Eva was learning everything from Frigga.
Except for weapons. Eva was still working with weapons, but with Sif and Thor. Both of them had taken in Eva as a student, and they would switch off as instructors with her.
Frigga told Loki that it was just a way of a child connecting to her memory of her mother and that eventually, she would understand Loki's actions, but he didn't share the same thought.
His own daughter wouldn't speak to him. Even her first nights in Asgard, she wasn't like that.
Now, it seemed, the only memory of him was the opal pendant that hung around her neck.
Eva was angrier. She was filled with something that Loki couldn't pinpoint but knew that in some time, it would affect her harder than she'd care to let on.

EVA WAS BECOMING ACCUSTOMED TO THE TRAINING GROUNDS.
"Swing left!" Thor's voice rang out, and Eva's sword sliced through the air, clashing with the Sif's. "Good - now right!"
Eva wasn't sure if the commentary was really helping, but she didn't deny that Thor knew his way around a sword fight; so she kept her mouth shut as she followed directions, hitting with a force that forced Sif to readjusted her grip.
"Another hit like that and you'll have her to the ground!" Thor praised, and Sif dropped her stance for a moment.
"Would you shut up?" she demanded, and Thor shrugged her off, smirking as Eva tossed another harsh hit; Sif blocked just in time.
