EVA DIDN'T KNOW WHAT A BIFROST FELT LIKE, BUT THAT CERTAINLY WASN'T WHAT SHE EXPECTED.

It was a sucking, suffocating, flying type feeling that felt like it was draining all energy out of her - energy that she didn't even have anymore.

When it finally stopped, it was like she was thrown into a halt; a sudden change in temperature and pressure that made Eva stumbled the second it altered; she almost fell forward, but Loki's cold hands had grasped her arms and steadied her.

Eva shrugged him off, not sparing him a second glance; maybe it was her ability to breathe again, but Eva felt an increase in her energy and strength the moment her feet touched the ground.

She looked around at the gold spokes that overlapped and layered to create the interior of the dome, and then her eyes met the man in the middle of it all; his hands at the hilt of a sword.

He wasn't dressed as Eva had expected. Loki and Thor, well, when they were on earth, dressed in fairly normal clothes, but this guy had a steel chest plate and - oh. Battle Armor.

So that's the vibe here. Medieval, Eva settled in her brain, taking one glance down at her sweatpants and sweatshirt.

Good first impressions were never Eva's thing anyway.

(She glanced over at Loki and Thor, who's clothing had opted to Asgardian wear, as well.)

"Heimdall," Thor greeted, a smile on his face as the man - or god? Eva wasn't sure anymore - descended the stairs from the platform in the middle of the shelter.

"I see you've brought a newcomer," Heimdall mentioned, but upon further observation, he retracted, "No. Not new at all. Welcome, Princess Eva."

Princess?

Eva let that echo in her head.

Realizing the man was still looking at her, Eva offered a forced smile before tilting her chin up and seeing windows of navy through the obstructed glass of the dome.

Navy sky, she recognized, and maybe she was hallucinating it, but she could swear she saw the specks of gold like in her dreams.

"She was with Anna as you suspected," Thor added to keep the conversation going, watching how Eva took absentminded steps away from the brothers.

"Though Anna is not in good shape," Loki pushed out through gritted teeth.  "Nor will she be when justice comes for her."

"Be content, Loki," Heimdall persuaded. "Eva is alive and well. What Anna has done is behind you, the both of you," he said as he jutted his chin towards Eva who was still wandering.

Was this real gold? Eva couldn't believe it. This was a kingdom. Eva was a princess.

Her head hurt again - the aching was back.
