Artists' Perspective [Deidara x Reader]

Conversation- Chapter 26

(Y/n pov)

"Hey I'm glad we were able to talk" I say quietly.

Deidara and I stopped laughing. 

"Yeah!" Deidara says smiling adorably "We aren't gonna tell anyone right?" 

"Well, uh-" I start.

Deidara shoves my shoulder lightly.

"You already told someone didn't you-un" Deidara say laughing a little bit.

"Hey I'm sorry, I didn't think. I was upset and needed advice" I defend laughing.

"Wait- you were upset that you kissed me?" Deidara jokes.

"No of course I wasn't upset that I kissed you" I say quickly.

We both fell silent again. We just stare at each other for a few seconds.

"I seriously can't believe I'm having this problem!" I say chuckling "A couple months ago I never could have imagined having a conversation with a rogue ninja because I kissed him and didn't want to screw up our friendship!"

Deidara lets out a small laugh and asks "Who did you tell and how many people do you think they've told-un?"

"I only told Konan, but I doubt she's told anyone yet. I trust her" I respond with my spirits restored again.

 "-HEY WAIT A SEC!" I yell.

I had noticed that the first volume of Black Butler was on Deidara's desk.

"What you said I could read it-un" Deidara tries to explain.

"You could have asked before taking it" I say calming back down.

(Deidara pov)

"You could have asked before taking it" Y/n says.

"You get upset so fast-un" I say, what I really wanted to say was 'calm down tsundere', but I thought better of it.

"Yeah, I know. Hanging around Hidan doesn't help either" Y/n says her cheeks turn a little bit pink and she starts rubbing the back of her neck.

"Hidan's the worst" I say remembering our violent argument a few days ago.

"He isn't the worst..." Y/n defends, Hidan was like an older brother to her, they had a really close bond.

 "Okay, he kinda is-but I still love him" She says smiling.

I smiled back at her. Y/n's smile is contagious and adorable. I'm just glad that she's happy.   

"He was really worried about you. I think that was the only time I've seen Hidan care about anyone other than himself-un" I say, at my words Y/n's (eye color) eyes light up.

"Aww, that's so sweet, and now I have blackmail on him" Y/n says sweetly.

"Ha ha no kidding" I say letting out a small laugh "You know I think it's funny that you and Hidan are so closely bonded-un"

"I sometimes wonder about that too" Y/n giggles.

I think she's just amazing but I will probably never tell her that.

"We do have the same taste in music though"Y/n says pointing to the logo on her (favorite band) hoodie.

"I think that our shared love of (favorite band) is the only reason Hidan, Sasori and I haven't killed each other-un" I laugh.

We laugh and talk for a while before realizing how late it is.

"It's pretty late. I think I'm going to go to bed" Y/n chirps.

"Okay. Goodnight Y/n" I say happily waving to her.

Y/n stands up and leaves my room waving.

"What am I going to do with myself?" I say under my breath as I ponder my predicament with Y/n.

(Konan pov)

I can hear laughter coming from Deidara's room. 

"Y/n doesn't have a crush on Deidara my ass" I sigh to myself "Those love sick idiots. I have to come up with a plan to get them together"

My thoughts are interrupted by a loud insistent knocking at my door. I stand up and open the door quietly. 

"I have a secret to tell you that you'll never be able to guess" Tobi giggles.

"Come on in" I say showing no emotion in my voice.

Tobi flings himself onto my bed. I sit next to him and sigh.

"What will I never believe?" I ask.

"Y/n and Deidara are  in love" Tobi whispers before giggling uncontrollably.

"Yeah of course they are" I say "Maybe not 'in love' but they like each other"

"Oh well" Tobi shrugs "At least I got to tell everyone else" 

"Wait what!? You told everyone else?!" I yell "How did you even find out?!"

"They were sitting on a romantic picnic blanket with fireworks and stuff" Tobi says.

"Wow real smooth you two" I face-palm.

"Well now I have to plan to get them together at least" I say to myself as Tobi skips away.

I start planning in my head. I would have a few of the guys distract Deidara while I take Y/n to get new clothes. The guys can get Deidara something good to wear and we can have them 'accidentally' cross paths in a really romantic place. It was all coming together, my perfect plan.

(A/n- Idk why bit i coudn't write any more today, i just didn't have it in me. i'll make the next chapter a lot longer ^-^)
