Jewel: How was church?

Andrew: Weird, church is weird, and scary. So many people, all clumped together in a small space, all trying to talk over each other. One woman started like screaming really loud and crying for no reason.

Jewel: Holy Ghost maybe? How was it for you though?

Andrew: Even in a church it was hell. These random people would come up to me and try talking to me but all I did was shake. My mouth felt dry and my throat felt tight. Some lady gave me a hug and I just stood there. I don't want to go back.

Jewel: Was it your first time going?

Andrew: Yea, again, never going back.

Jewel: Why'd you go in the first place?

Andrew: I think you can guess by now.

Jewel: Mom thinks it'll be good for you? To be honest though, I kinda agree with her.

Andrew: Not you too! You don't understand how hard it is for me to be in such crowded spaces. Even if it's not crowded, talking to another person is just as difficult.

Jewel: You seemed fine talking to me. Drew are you antisocial?

Andrew: Something like that.

Jewel: Why is that funny?

Andrew: You just don't know. Your cluelessness is what's funny, you just have no idea.

Jewel: Well tell me something so I do. Drew, I know you keep to yourself most of the time but talk to me. You can talk to me, I'm here for you, okay?

Andrew: I know Jew Jew, I'm just.....coping.

Jewel: Coping, coping with what? Is there something you're not telling me?

Andrew: Nope.

Jewel: Are you sure?

Andrew: Positive.

Jewel: Are you upset?

Andrew: No.

Jewel: I didn't minor in psychology not to know that short answers are a sign of passive anger.

Andrew: Jewel.

Jewel: Pushing, got it.

Andrew: Can I see you again?

Jewel: When?

Andrew: This week, Thursday. Same park, same time.

Jewel: I'll have to call off work but it's a date. I mean it's not a date date, but a date. Like the time of year date not like I'm your girlfriend date. I wouldn't mind if it's an I'm your girlfriend date but I'm not so it's just a casual date. Tot-

Andrew: What are you talking about? When you ramble all of your words, they become this big word soup. They don't run together or anything, but they pour out so fast you barely have time to catch them coherently. I actually really love when you ramble.

Jewel: It's just that when I start, sometimes I just can't stop. Like this energizer bunny is in the back of my head just going. My mom usually yells at me for talking too much.

Andrew: Ha! If my mom isn't the opposite of yours.

Jewel: O my gosh, no.

Andrew: What?

Jewel: I just had the scariest thought.

Andrew: What is it?

Jewel: What if my mom met your mom? Like how would that go, them just so happening to bump into each other at the store. They start talking and all of a sudden one of our moms gets this idea to invite the other over for dinner. Then that means my whole family meets your family and cheese and rice that would be a disaster. What if you siblings don't like mine, then-

Andrew: Jewel! Calm down, take a deep breath and calm down. I highly doubt that will happen, and if it does everything will be fine. Don't worry your pretty little head about that, okay?

Jewel: Okay, I'm sorry, and I was rambling again. Sorry.

Andrew: It's fine, like I said I love when you ramble. You're adorable when you ramble.

Jewel: You are the sweetest person ever. I could hug you right now.

Andrew: You can do just that on Thursday.

Jewel: And you're also going to tell me why you were in the hospital, right?

Andrew: Right....

Jewel: Drew I'm serious, I need to know. Was it because of me?

Andrew: Don't worry about that now.

Jewel: I can't help it. You were in there for two weeks and I was worried about you.

Andrew: Why?

Jewel: I'll tell you the same thing I told your mother. You're my best friend.

Andrew: I'm your best friend?

Jewel: Yes you are, do you not want to be my best friend?

Andrew: No, of course I do. I just, didn't expext to be.

Jewel: Well you are so get used to it kid. Au revoir.

Andrew: Au revoir, ma douce.
